Just file your claim if you think you might qualify - the worst they can do is say no. The monetary determination process will tell you exactly where you stand and you'll know for sure instead of guessing about your wage eligibility.
Remember that if you don't qualify now, you might qualify later if you keep working and earning wages. The base period moves forward each quarter so your eligibility can change over time.
UPDATE: Just wanted to say I finally got through using that Claimyr service someone mentioned earlier. Turns out there was a stop on my account for additional identity verification. The agent was able to clear it while I was on the phone and said payments should process within 24 hours. Thanks to everyone who suggested it!
This thread has been super helpful! I'm in a similar situation with delayed payments and was getting really stressed about it. Going to check my account for stops and probably try that callback service if I can't figure it out.
Thanks for asking this question OP! I'm in the same boat and this thread has been super helpful. Sounds like the key is just being honest and stopping when you actually start working.
One last thing - if you're starting a job that has a probationary period, you still stop claiming. Even if there's a chance you might not make it past probation, the work still counts as employment.

Pro tip: if you're going to a grocery store, try to go during off-peak hours. The customer service desk gets really busy during lunch and after work, so you might wait longer.

•That's smart thinking. I'll try to go mid-morning when it's less crowded.

Make sure you have a backup plan in case the first place won't cash it for some reason. Sometimes they have weird policies or daily limits that aren't obvious until you get there.
