Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

One final thought - even if you get approved for unemployment, keep pushing on the disability claim too. Having both processes moving forward gives you the best chance of maintaining some income during this difficult period.

How quickly were you able to get through?

My appeal took exactly 7 weeks from hearing to decision letter. Got approved and received about $4,200 in back pay. The wait was worth it but definitely nerve-wracking.

Bottom line: if you've worked in Washington and lost your job through no fault of your own, you should apply. The worst thing that happens is they say no, but you might be surprised and get approved.
