Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

The maximum benefit amount in Washington is pretty decent compared to other states. You can calculate your estimated weekly benefit amount on the Washington ESD website before you even file.
I'll check that calculator out. It would be good to know what to expect financially.
Yeah, it helps with budgeting. Just remember it's based on your earnings over the last 4 quarters.
Last thing - if your claim gets denied for any reason, don't panic. You have the right to appeal and most appeals are handled pretty fairly if you have a legitimate case. Layoffs are almost never denied unless there's some other issue.

Last thought - if your claim does get flagged for any reason and goes into adjudication, don't panic. It's pretty routine and usually just means they need to verify some information. Just respond quickly to any requests they send you.

one last tip - take screenshots of your weekly claim confirmations that show you reported the work income. if theres ever a question later you have proof you did everything right

i learned this the hard way during an overpayment dispute. thankfully i had kept records and was able to prove i reported everything correctly
For anyone still reading this thread - I had a similar question last month and ended up using Claimyr to speak with a Washington ESD representative. The agent confirmed everything people are saying here about reporting requirements and the partial earnings deduction. Really worth the peace of mind to get official confirmation directly from the source.
That's exactly what I was thinking - getting it straight from Washington ESD would make me feel a lot more confident about doing this right.
