Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

Bottom line - employers are definitely affected by unemployment claims through their tax rates, but that's how the system is supposed to work. Don't let fear of employer retaliation stop you from filing if you're eligible.

Just remember to file your weekly claims on time even if there's a contest. You don't want to lose benefits because of a technicality.
One last tip - if you do end up in adjudication because of an employer contest, try to get through to Washington ESD early in the process. The longer you wait, the longer it takes to resolve. I learned this the hard way.

Just want to add - if you do run into problems with your claim or need to talk to someone at Washington ESD, that Claimyr service people mentioned is legit. I used it last month when my claim got stuck in adjudication and needed to speak with someone urgently.
How quickly were you able to get through to someone?
Much faster than trying to call on my own. They handle the waiting and callback process so you don't have to sit on hold for hours.
Bottom line: file your claim ASAP, keep filing weekly claims on time, and don't panic if you've already waited a couple weeks. Two weeks isn't going to kill your claim, but don't wait any longer!

Yes, and don't skip weeks even if you think you might not be eligible that week. It's better to file and report any issues than to miss filing altogether.
