If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

Keep your chin up and keep networking. Sometimes the best opportunities come from connections rather than online applications. Let everyone know you're looking.

You're absolutely right. I need to be better about reaching out to my network.

Bottom line - no automatic extensions right now, but definitely worth talking to ESD about all your options. And start preparing financially for the possibility that benefits might end before you find work.

0 coins

Yeah, that's probably the most realistic approach. Thanks everyone for all the advice and perspective.

tbh the system has gotten better since covid. used to be way worse. still not perfect but definitely more manageable now

0 coins

Agreed, they made a lot of improvements to the online systems and processing times are much better than they were in 2020-2021.

Final thought - don't overthink it. If you qualify, apply. The worst that happens is they ask for more information or deny it and you can appeal. But you'll never know unless you try.

Very true! I'm going to stop worrying and just get it done. Thanks again everyone!

Wednesday morning is when mine usually hits if I certify on Sunday. Very consistent timing for me.

0 coins

That seems to be the most common timing people are mentioning. Hopefully mine follows the same pattern.

Just remember that even one small mistake on your weekly claim can cause delays. Double check everything before you submit it.

0 coins

I'll definitely be more careful. Better to take an extra minute to review than deal with payment delays.

0 coins

Yep, learned that lesson the hard way when I reported my earnings wrong one week.

0 coins

Been doing this for months now and my advice is just to be consistent. Same time every week, same routine, and keep good records of everything.

0 coins

That sounds like solid advice. Consistency is probably key with government systems.

0 coins

Absolutely. The more organized you are, the fewer problems you'll have down the road.

One last tip - save confirmation numbers and screenshots after you certify. It's proof you completed your weekly claim on time if there are ever any questions.

0 coins

Great idea. I'll make sure to do that going forward.

Yes, always keep records of your interactions with Washington ESD. Documentation is your friend.

Update your thread when you hear back! I always like to know how long it actually took for people in similar situations. It helps set expectations for others going through the same thing.

Will do! I'll post an update once I hear something back from Washington ESD.

In the meantime, make sure you're taking care of other things like health insurance if you lost coverage through your employer. COBRA deadlines can sneak up on you while you're focused on unemployment benefits.

Good reminder! I need to look into my COBRA options. Thanks for thinking of that.
