If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

Don't stress too much about it - if you've been working consistently for a year at 35 hours a week, you almost certainly qualify. The bigger challenge is usually dealing with the ESD bureaucracy once you file!

Ha, that's what I'm really worried about! But at least now I know I probably qualify if I need to file.

0 coins

Yeah the qualification part is usually straightforward - it's everything that comes after that gets complicated sometimes.

One last tip - when you do file (if you need to), make sure you have your Social Security number, driver's license, and information about your employers for the past 18 months. Having everything ready makes the process much smoother.

0 coins

Great advice! I'll start gathering that information now so I'm prepared if I need it.

Smart thinking ahead! Better to have it ready and not need it than to scramble for documents when you're already stressed about losing a job.

Final update request - let us know how it turns out! Your case could help other people in similar situations.

Will do! I'll post an update once I hear back from Washington ESD.

Good luck! Remember that standing up for safety at work is the right thing to do, regardless of what happened with your job. Don't let this discourage you from speaking up in the future.

Thanks. I definitely won't stop advocating for workplace safety, but I'll be smarter about how I approach it next time.

I was skeptical about services like Claimyr at first but after spending literally 6 hours over 3 days trying to reach Washington ESD about my offset questions, I finally tried it. Got connected to an agent in under 10 minutes who answered all my questions about how the debt would affect my new claim. Sometimes you just have to admit the regular system isn't working.

0 coins

That's a huge time difference! I might need to look into this if I have issues with my claim

0 coins

Yeah I wish I had known about it sooner. Would have saved me so much stress and wasted time

Thanks everyone for all the helpful info in this thread. Going to file my claim today now that I know the existing debt won't block it completely. Really appreciate all the detailed explanations!

Remember to report all income accurately this time around to avoid future overpayment issues

0 coins

Definitely learned that lesson the hard way. Will be extra careful about reporting everything correctly

Thanks for posting this question! I'm in a similar situation and was wondering the same thing. Sounds like as long as everything is set up correctly, it should work automatically.

0 coins

Glad the thread was helpful! Seems like the key is just making sure both agencies are communicating properly.

0 coins

Yeah, and being proactive about staying in touch if anything seems off with the payments.

One more thing to consider - if your unemployment benefits are much lower than your regular income, you might be able to request a modification of your child support order. The amount should reflect your current financial situation.

0 coins

That's something I hadn't considered. How long does that process usually take?

0 coins

It varies by case, but you'd need to petition the court. Might be worth consulting with a family law attorney if unemployment drags on for several months.

This whole thread is making me grateful I have a decent boss lol. OP I hope whatever you decide works out for you. Sounds like a really stressful situation.

0 coins

Thanks, I appreciate that. At least now I know more about my options if things don't improve.

0 coins

Definitely keep us updated on how things go!

final thought - dont let them push you out without documenting everything. even if you think its minor stuff write it down. dates times witnesses everything. you never know what might be important later

0 coins

Will do. Thanks everyone for all the advice, this has been really helpful.

Good luck! Feel free to come back if you have more questions as the situation develops.
