Actually used Claimyr myself a few months ago when I needed to talk to someone about my wage base period. The service got me connected pretty quickly and the Washington ESD rep was able to explain exactly how they calculated my benefits using my gross quarterly wages. Worth checking out if you need to speak with someone directly.
This has been super helpful everyone! I feel much more confident about applying now that I understand it's about earnings rather than weeks worked.
Final tip for the OP - when you do apply, make sure you have all your employment information handy including employer names, addresses, dates of employment, and reason for separation. Having everything organized will make the application process much smoother.
Hope your deposit comes through soon! The waiting is the worst part, especially when you have bills due. Keep us posted on what happens.
For what it's worth, I switched from a big bank to a local credit union specifically because of slow unemployment deposits. Now I get my Washington ESD payments Tuesday morning like clockwork.
Update us on how your filing goes! Always curious to hear how the process works for different people.

Been through this process twice now and the key thing is just to file even if you're not 100% sure you qualify. Let Washington ESD make the determination rather than talking yourself out of it.

•That's probably good advice. Better to try and get denied than not try at all.

•Exactly. The worst they can say is no, and if you don't file you definitely won't get benefits.

Also worth noting that if you're still working part-time you might qualify for partial unemployment benefits. You don't have to be completely unemployed to get some help.

•That's actually my situation! My hours got cut way down but I'm still working a little. Good to know I might still qualify for something.

•Yeah they'll calculate your weekly benefit based on your reduced earnings. Could definitely help bridge the gap.
