If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

Just want to give everyone hope - my claim was approved after 5 weeks and I got my first payment 3 days later. The backpay covered all the weeks I was waiting. Hang in there!

That's encouraging! I'm at 5 weeks now so maybe I'm close. Thanks for the update.

Keep filing those weekly claims and it should work out. The wait is awful but the system does eventually work.

For what it's worth, I tried that Claimyr service someone mentioned earlier and it actually worked. Got connected to Washington ESD within a couple hours and found out my employer hadn't sent in their response yet. At least now I know what's going on instead of just wondering.

Good to hear another positive experience with them. I might give it a shot if I don't hear something soon.

Yeah, the uncertainty was driving me crazy. Worth it just to get some answers and know your claim is actually being worked on.

my claim finally got approved after using that claimyr service someone mentioned earlier, was able to talk to someone who explained what was holding things up

Glad it worked out for you! Having direct contact with an agent really does make a difference.

This gives me hope for my situation, thanks for sharing your success

Good idea, lots of useful information here that might come in handy later

final tip - take screenshots of everything when you file your claim! washington esd's website can be glitchy and having proof of what you submitted can save headaches later

Great advice, I'll definitely do that. Thanks everyone for all the help!

You're welcome! Feel free to post again if you run into any issues during the process.

This whole thread is making me realize I probably filed too early when I got laid off last month. I filed the day before my last day because I was anxious to get the process started. Wonder if that's why my claim has been taking so long to process...

0 coins

Ugh, I was afraid of that. Guess I'll have to try calling them.

This is exactly the kind of situation where Claimyr really helps - getting through to ESD to fix timing issues like this. Much faster than trying to call on your own.

Just wanted to add - if you worked for multiple employers during your base period, make sure to include ALL of them when you file. Washington ESD will contact each one to verify your wages.

I only had the one retail job, so that should be straightforward. Thanks for the tip though!

The waiting can be nerve-wracking but try to be patient with the process. Washington ESD processes thousands of claims and they do their best to be thorough. Most eligible people do get approved eventually.

0 coins

That's reassuring. I'm going to file this weekend and hope for the best!

If you run into any issues or need to reach an agent for questions, definitely consider using Claimyr. Made my whole experience much less stressful.

I'd lean toward STD given your injury timeline. You were laid off, then injured, so you're legitimately unable to work now regardless of the layoff.

0 coins

Yeah that seems like the logical choice. Thanks everyone for the help!

Hope everything works out for you! And seriously, if you need to talk to Washington ESD about any of this, Claimyr saved me so much frustration. Worth checking out their demo video to see how it works.

Will definitely look into it. You all have been incredibly helpful!
