reading through all these responses makes me feel better about my own wait time. seems like everyone goes through the same anxiety during those first few weeks
Final thought - document everything during your wait time. Keep records of your weekly claim submissions, any correspondence, and your job search activities. It all helps if there are any questions later.
One last thing - if you run into any issues with your claim or have questions you can't find answers to online, don't spend days trying to get through on the phone. I wasted so much time doing that before I found Claimyr. Sometimes you just need to talk to a real person to get things sorted out quickly.
Thanks for posting this question OP. I'm in a similar situation and this thread has been really helpful. Good luck with everything!
Final thought - document everything as you go through this process. Keep records of what programs you applied for, when you applied, and any responses you get. It'll help you stay organized and could be useful if you need to reference anything later.
Glad this worked out for everyone. Just shows how important it is to have multiple ways to contact Washington ESD when issues come up. That Claimyr thing sounds useful for when the phone lines are impossible.

One more thing - if you get approved for partial benefits, make sure you understand how the earnings offset works. You can earn up to a certain amount each week before it starts reducing your benefit payment. Washington ESD has a calculator on their website that shows how it works.

Hope everything works out for you OP! The system seems complicated but once you get through the initial application it's pretty straightforward. Just stay on top of your weekly claims and job search activities.
