If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

Congrats on getting your approval! In my experience, unemployment deposits usually hit between 2-4 AM, but it definitely depends on your bank. Some banks process ACH transfers overnight while others wait until business hours. Since today is Columbus Day (federal holiday), many banks aren't processing until tomorrow anyway, so you'll likely see it Tuesday morning. The state usually sends the payment on the date shown, but banks hold it until they process ACH batches. Hope this helps ease the waiting!

Thanks for this helpful info @Mary Bates! I'm in a similar situation waiting for my first payment and was wondering about the timing too. Do you happen to know if Pennsylvania sends out the payments at a specific time on the payment date, or does it vary? I'm with PNC and trying to figure out when to expect it since I also have the 10/14 date showing but nothing yet due to the holiday.

I've been dealing with PA UC for over a year now and can confirm this delay is totally normal! What a lot of people don't realize is that "paid" in the portal basically means your claim was approved and the payment was authorized, but there's still the actual money movement that has to happen between different systems. I've tracked my payments pretty carefully and here's what I've noticed: if you file Sunday morning, money usually hits Monday night/Tuesday morning. If you file Sunday evening, it's more likely Tuesday night/Wednesday morning. And if there's ANY kind of holiday or system maintenance (which they don't always announce), add another day. The key thing is once you see "paid" status, you're good - the money WILL come. I know it's stressful when you're counting on it for bills, but try not to stress until it's been 3+ business days. Also pro tip: always check the Money Network website, not just the app - sometimes pending transactions show up there first before they hit your available balance.

This is incredibly helpful information! I'm relatively new to the UC system (only been filing for about 2 months) and honestly had no idea there were so many variables that could affect timing. Your breakdown of the Sunday filing times is especially useful - I never connected the dots that filing later in the day could push back when the money actually arrives. I've been filing Sunday evenings too, so that probably explains some of the inconsistency I've experienced. Really appreciate you taking the time to share your tracking observations - it's so much better to understand the actual process rather than just wondering why things work the way they do. And thanks for the tip about checking the Money Network website vs the app, I didn't know there could be a difference there!

This thread is a goldmine of information! I've been filing for about 3 months and have noticed these random delays but never understood why. Reading everyone's experiences makes me feel so much better about the whole process. What really struck me was the pattern about filing times - I always file Sunday afternoons around 3-4pm and have definitely noticed that sometimes my money comes Tuesday instead of Monday. Now I understand it's probably related to processing cutoffs. One thing I'll add from my experience: I've found that if you're really anxious about timing, you can set up text alerts through Money Network. They'll send you a notification as soon as a deposit posts, which has saved me from obsessively checking the app every few hours. Thanks to everyone who shared their experiences here - this is exactly the kind of real-world info that you can't get from the official PA UC website!

The text alert tip is brilliant! I had no idea Money Network offered that feature. I'm definitely going to set that up because I've been guilty of checking the app way too often when I'm waiting for a payment to come through. It's so reassuring to read everyone's experiences and realize that these delays are just part of how the system works, not something to panic about. I'm still pretty new to all this (just started filing a few weeks ago) and threads like this are invaluable for understanding what's normal versus what might actually be a problem. Thanks for sharing that practical tip along with your observations about the timing patterns!

I've been on PA UC for about 2 months now and seeing all these responses makes me feel so much better! I thought something was wrong with my account because my deposits have been all over the place timing-wise. Mine typically comes Wednesday morning around 1-3am, but I've had it hit as early as Tuesday at 10pm and as late as Thursday morning (that was during a holiday week). The inconsistency was really stressing me out because I'm used to regular paychecks that always hit at the same time. I'm definitely going to try filing my weekly certification early Sunday morning like some of you suggested. And the text alert tip is genius - I've been obsessively checking the Money Network app multiple times a day which is not good for my anxiety. Thanks everyone for sharing your experiences. It's reassuring to know this is just how the system works and I'm not doing anything wrong!

You're definitely not doing anything wrong! I just started receiving PA UC benefits last month and had the exact same anxiety about the inconsistent timing. It's such a relief to read everyone's experiences here and realize this is just how the system operates. The unpredictability is tough when you're already dealing with financial stress from being unemployed. I'm also going to try the early Sunday filing strategy and set up those text alerts. It helps so much to know we're all in the same boat with this!

I've been on PA UC for about a year now and can definitely confirm the Tuesday vs Wednesday deposit pattern you're describing. In my experience, the Tuesday evening deposits (usually between 9pm-midnight) tend to happen more frequently during weeks when: 1. There's been a federal holiday that week or the previous week 2. PA's system has had maintenance or updates 3. Higher than normal volume of claims being processed I've also noticed that if I file my weekly certification really early on Sunday (before 10am), I'm more likely to see a Tuesday deposit. My theory is that early filers get processed in an earlier batch. The time of day is still completely random for me though - I've seen deposits hit anywhere from 11pm Tuesday to 6am Wednesday. I stopped trying to predict it and just check once in the morning now. One thing that really helped my peace of mind was setting up the Money Network mobile alerts and also keeping a small buffer in my checking account so I'm not dependent on the exact timing for bill payments. The unpredictability is definitely frustrating when you're trying to budget tight!

Yes, I had to call the main PA UC number (888-313-7284). It took forever to get through though. I started calling right when they opened at 8am and still waited on hold for over an hour. If you can't get through, definitely try the Claimyr service I mentioned. It's worth it when you're stressing about money not showing up.

Just to add: the Money Network card also has its own customer service line (1-888-233-5916) that's often easier to reach than the UC service center. They can at least tell you if a payment has been posted to your card or is pending, even if they can't help with claim issues.

I've been dealing with PA UC for about 6 months now and here's what I've learned about timing: The pay date is when they release the funds, but it doesn't mean instant availability. For Money Network cards specifically, I usually see mine post between 11pm-2am the night OF the pay date or by 8am the next morning. So for your 10/7 pay date, check your card balance late Monday night or first thing Tuesday morning. One tip - download the Money Network app if you haven't already. It sends push notifications when deposits hit, so you don't have to keep checking manually. Also, some ATMs (especially PNC) will show pending deposits before they're fully available, which can give you peace of mind that the money is coming. Good luck with your rent situation! Most landlords understand these delays if you communicate with them ahead of time.

This is super helpful info! I didn't know about the Money Network app notifications - just downloaded it and set up alerts. That'll definitely save me from obsessively checking my balance every hour. The tip about PNC ATMs showing pending deposits is great too since there's one right by my apartment. Really appreciate you taking the time to share all these details!

Wow, this is exactly the kind of detailed info I needed! I had no idea about the Money Network app notifications - downloading it now. The timing you mentioned (11pm-2am on pay date or by 8am next day) gives me hope I might actually have the money by Tuesday morning. I'm definitely going to check that PNC ATM near my place too. Thanks for being so thorough with the advice - it really helps calm my nerves about making rent on time!

I've been on PA UC for about 4 months now and can confirm everything everyone is saying here! The Tuesday/Wednesday deposit pattern is totally normal when filing on Sunday. What helped me the most was setting up text alerts through the Money Network app - you'll get a notification as soon as the deposit hits your account, which takes away some of the guesswork. Also, I noticed that if there's a federal holiday on Monday, it almost always pushes the deposit to Wednesday instead of Tuesday. The 2-3 business day rule is really accurate, just remember that weekends and holidays don't count as business days. Hope this helps ease some anxiety for the newer folks - we've all been there with the uncertainty!

Thanks for mentioning the Money Network text alerts @Chloe Martin! I just signed up for unemployment and had no idea that was an option. That's going to be so helpful for planning when I can expect the money to hit. The point about federal holidays pushing it to Wednesday is really good to know too - I wouldn't have thought about that affecting the timing. It's amazing how much practical knowledge everyone in this community has shared in this thread!

Just wanted to add my experience as someone who's been dealing with PA UC deposits for about 8 months now. The Tuesday/Wednesday timing everyone mentioned is exactly right, but I've also noticed that during busy periods (like around holidays or when there are a lot of new claims being processed), it tends to lean more toward Wednesday. One thing that really helped me was setting up a separate savings account just for UC deposits so I could track the patterns better. Also, if you ever get a deposit that's significantly different from your usual amount, don't panic - sometimes they do adjustments for things like tax withholdings or if there were issues with previous weeks. Always check your payment history on the UC dashboard to see the breakdown. This community has been such a lifesaver for navigating all the confusing parts of the system!
