To check your correspondence preferences, log in to your dashboard, click on "User Settings" in the left sidebar, then "Correspondence Preferences." You can update your settings there to receive both electronic and paper copies if you want to be extra safe. And yes, all tax documents including 1099Gs should appear under "Important Documents" - not the regular message center.
Thanks so much for the clear instructions! Just checked and I had it set to electronic only. Changed it to both now. Really appreciate the help!
My sister had this exact same thing happen but then she also got a SECOND 1099G in the mail two weeks later with different amounts! Super confusing. Called UC and they said the second one was correct after they recalculated her benefits. Make sure you're using the most recent one if you end up with duplicates.
THE WHOLE SYSTEM IS DESIGNED TO MAKE YOU GIVE UP!!!! I waited 14 weeks for my hearing and then they CANCELED it the day before because the "referee was sick" and rescheduled for another MONTH later!!! Its a complete joke and nobody cares about us regular people trying to survive.
This happened to my neighbor too! His hearing got rescheduled twice and took almost 5 months total. The system is definitely broken.
Update: I finally called the appeals office directly and they told me my hearing is tentatively scheduled for early March! That's about 10 weeks from when I filed the appeal. They said I should receive the official notice in the mail about a week before the actual hearing. Thanks everyone for your help and advice!
Great news! Make sure to start preparing now. Review the reason for your denial and gather evidence that counters it. If you were denied for misconduct, bring documentation showing you followed company policy. If it was about availability for work, bring proof you're actively seeking employment. Having organized documentation makes a huge difference in these hearings.
ugh classic PA UC mess up! glad u got it sorted out but so annoying about the 2 week delay 😠make sure u keep filing ur weekly claims while u wait for the new hearing!!!
Thanks for the update. This is exactly the kind of clerical error I suspected. Make sure you use these two weeks to thoroughly prepare for your hearing. Review all your documents, practice explaining your case clearly and concisely, and be ready to address any points your employer might raise. Good luck with your hearing!
i think its because of the job search requirements. They doing extra checks cuz so many people not doing their work searches right. My buddy got audited last week and they made him prove all his job contacts. Make sure yall keeping records!!!!
oh crap i havent been saving my job search stuff. just putting in the system. are we supposed to keep copies??
**UPDATE: PA UC has now posted on their official Twitter that there was a processing delay affecting claims filed 5/10-5/12. All claims are being processed and payments should appear in accounts on their regular schedule or with a 1-day delay at most. They apologize for the confusion and recommend not calling about this specific issue as it's being resolved system-wide.**

•If Treasury confirms they've sent the payment, it should always eventually appear on your card. I've never heard of a confirmed payment not eventually showing up. However, if it's been more than 3-4 business days, you should contact Money Network directly as there could be an issue with your specific card.

Update: My payment FINALLY showed up on my Money Network card this morning! That's over 4 days after my claim was approved and 2 days after Treasury said they posted the payment. I'm definitely switching to direct deposit today. Thanks everyone for the advice and sharing your experiences - at least I know I wasn't alone in dealing with this!
