If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

Just wanted to follow up on this thread - for those dealing with employer issues, this is exactly why PA requires the work search activities while you wait for determination. Even though it feels pointless when you're not getting paid yet, you need to be doing and documenting your work search activities (applying to jobs, attending workshops, etc.) every week during this waiting period. If you don't do this and then get approved, they could deny payment for weeks where you didn't complete and document your work search requirements. Make sure you're logging into the system and recording at least two work search activities each week.

Oh shoot - I didn't realize I still had to do work search activities while waiting! I thought that only started once I was approved. Thank you for mentioning this! I'll start applying to jobs right away and logging them in the system.

my neighbor works for uc she says they super backlogged right now bc of some computer upgrade thing so everything taking longer than normal

0 coins

Of course they are! They ALWAYS have some excuse. Last year it was "staff shortages" and before that it was "high claim volume." Meanwhile people are losing their homes waiting for benefits they're entitled to!

does any1 else think its ridiculous they expect us to do all this just to get benefits WE EARNED through our jobs? careerlink workshops r mostly useless anyway & now we get punished for not doing them?? the whole system needs fixed

preach!! my last 'workshop' was just some boring powerpoint that taught me nothing. total waste of time but u gotta jump thru their hoops

Just following up - has anyone heard back about your appeal yet? In my experience, these work search disqualification appeals are taking about 3-4 weeks to process currently.

0 coins

Just got my determination letter yesterday - appeal approved! They're reinstating my benefits. I had to get pretty detailed with my documentation and explain that I misunderstood the requirements. Thanks to everyone here who helped me navigate this!

One thing to keep in mind: while your claim is under supervisor review, make sure you're still filing your weekly claims! A lot of people make the mistake of stopping their weekly certifications while waiting for a determination, but you need to keep filing to get all your back weeks once approved.

Yes, I've been faithfully filing every week even though it's depressing to keep seeing 'benefits exhausted' and $0 on my payment summary. Hopefully it will be worth it when they finally process everything.

this is why the whole system is a joke. u literally need to get politicians involved just to get what ur owed. such a broken process.

While the system definitely has flaws, using your state representative is actually part of how the system is designed to work. They're supposed to help constituents navigate government services - that's literally part of their job.

UPDATE: Finally got my issue fixed! Called the Treasury Dept (took 3 attempts to get through) and they said my new card wasn't properly linked to my claim. They fixed it on their end and said my next payment will go to the new card, but I'd need to call Money Network directly to transfer any pending payments. Called them and after 45 mins on hold they were able to transfer my funds. Money showed up on my new card about 4 hours later! Thanks everyone for your help!

Great news! Glad you got it sorted out. For future reference, whenever you get a replacement card, always call both PA Treasury and Money Network to make sure everything is properly linked. The system doesn't handle transitions between cards well at all.

Just a heads up for anyone else with this issue - I've heard that starting in August 2025, PA UC is finally updating their system to automatically transfer balances to replacement cards. Too late for many of us, but at least they're fixing it eventually!

ill believe it when i see it lol. theyve been promising updates to the system for years

my cousin waited 8 weeks for his first payment and they never even told him why... PA unemployment is the WORST!!

0 coins

tell ur cousin to check if theres a problem with his payment method - my money was sitting in limbo for weeks because I had entered my routing number wrong on the direct deposit form!!! UC never notified me, I had to figure it out myself

FINAL UPDATE: Payment hit my account this morning!!!! Exactly 4 business days after talking to the agent. They even included all the back weeks I was owed. So glad I didn't just wait for the system to figure itself out. For anyone reading this later - if you have an open issue, definitely call them or use one of the methods suggested here to talk to someone directly. Don't just wait and hope!

That's fantastic! Thanks for coming back to update. This will definitely help others who find this thread later. And great job being proactive about resolving your issue instead of just waiting.
