If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

Just checked and mine changed to paid too! What a relief. Thanks everyone for the help and info.

Mine too finally! Still annoyed about the delay with ZERO communication from them though.

Just wanted to chime in as someone who's been through this before - glad to see everyone's payments finally went through! For future reference, PA UC actually does have a system status page at unemployment.pa.gov/status that shows known issues, though they don't always update it quickly. I learned about it after dealing with a similar delay last year. Also, if this happens again, try checking your payment status around 11 PM - that's when their overnight batch processing usually runs. Hope this helps anyone who might face this issue in the future!

does anyone know if we're getting that extra $300 this month? i heard something about it on the news but my payment was just the regular amount

0 coins

There is no additional $300 supplement for PA unemployment currently. You might be thinking of a news story about a different state or a legislative proposal that hasn't been implemented. Regular UC in Pennsylvania is just your weekly benefit amount without any federal supplements since those pandemic programs ended years ago.

Still waiting here too - nothing on my direct deposit yet. This is really stressful because I have rent due tomorrow and was counting on getting paid today like usual. Has anyone tried calling the UC office to see if there's an official explanation for the delays? I'm wondering if I should wait it out or try to get through to someone today.

I had a similar problem back in November. They mixed up my identity with someone else! It's crazy how many errors happen in their system. Glad you got it sorted out. Just remember if you don't see that correction within the 10 days they promised, call back immediately. They told me 10 days and it actually took 4 weeks and another call before my determination was fixed.

Thanks for the warning. I'm marking my calendar and will definitely follow up if I don't see the correction by then. This whole experience has been so stressful!

Wow, what a nightmare but so glad you got it resolved! Identity mix-ups seem to happen more often than they should with PA UC. For anyone else reading this with similar issues, here's what I learned from my own experience: 1. Don't panic if your benefit amount seems way off - it's often a data error 2. Keep detailed records of ALL your employers during the base period, even part-time work 3. If you can't get through by phone, try early morning (7-8 AM) when call volume is lower 4. Screenshot everything in your UC dashboard before and after any changes The fact that they confused you with someone else with a similar name/SSN is pretty concerning from a data security standpoint, but at least they caught it. Hopefully your corrected determination comes through quickly!

Good news is that if you win your appeal, you'll get all the back payments you're entitled to. Make sure you're answering the weekly certification questions correctly - 'Are you able to work?' should be YES (because you can work many jobs, just not your previous one). Also document all your job search activities carefully during this time.

Update: I submitted my appeal yesterday with my doctor's note that clearly states I can work with restrictions (no heavy lifting). Also included information about the conversation with my supervisor where I requested accommodation before quitting. Fingers crossed! Thanks everyone for your help.

That's great that you got your appeal submitted! Just wanted to add - when you go to your appeal hearing (if they schedule one), bring copies of everything: your doctor's note, any emails or documentation about requesting accommodation from your supervisor, and a list of job types you've been applying for that work with your restrictions. Also, practice explaining clearly that you CAN work, just not jobs requiring heavy lifting. Sometimes the hearing officer needs that distinction spelled out really clearly. Wishing you the best of luck - sounds like you have a solid case!

One more bit of advice: After you get this sorted, double-check your dashboard after each weekly certification to confirm your work search activities were properly recorded. Sometimes the system glitches and doesn't save entries even when you enter them correctly. If you see this happen, take a screenshot and call immediately rather than waiting for your benefits to be affected. Also, since you've had a disruption in benefits, watch for a message about scheduling a mandatory reemployment session. These are often triggered when there's a work search issue, and missing one will definitely stop your benefits again.

I just checked my dashboard and I do see something about a RESEA appointment? Is that the reemployment session you're talking about? It's scheduled for next Thursday.

0 coins

Yes, that's exactly it - RESEA (Reemployment Services and Eligibility Assessment). Do NOT miss this appointment! They'll review your work search records and provide career services. Missing it results in automatic benefit suspension. Make sure to have all your job search records organized and ready to present during this meeting.

Honestly this is why I just apply to jobs directly thru indeed and linkedin instead of careerlink. Easier to track and screenshot everything. Careerlink is so clunky its like they designed it in 2005 and never updated it lol

0 coins

@Dylan Cooper That s'actually a really good point! I ve'been forcing myself to use CareerLink because I thought it was required, but you re'right that applying through Indeed/LinkedIn is way easier to document. As long as I m'entering the job search activities properly in my weekly UC certification, it shouldn t'matter where I actually applied, right? The interface on CareerLink is absolutely terrible - half the time the job postings don t'even load properly.
