If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

One thing that might help - check your portal to see if your appeal is listed in the "Determinations & Issue Status" section. If it shows the appeal as decided in your favor there, but your weekly claims still show as disqualified, that's normal during processing. If the appeal decision isn't showing up in that section at all yet, that might indicate the referee's decision hasn't been entered into the system.

Good point - I just checked and it does show the appeal as "Allowed" under Determinations, but weekly claims still show disqualified. I guess that means it's in the system but waiting for processing. I'll update when something changes!

That's a good sign that your appeal shows as "Allowed" in the system! I went through the exact same thing last summer - won my appeal but had to wait 19 days for the weekly claims to flip from disqualified to paid. The most frustrating part is there's literally nothing you can do except wait once it's in their processing queue. I called every other day and got the same "2-4 weeks" response each time. Just keep filing your weekly claims like others said - when it finally processes you'll get a lump sum for all the back weeks. Hang in there, it WILL happen eventually even though the wait is brutal when you're struggling financially.

19 days is actually not too bad compared to some of the horror stories I'm hearing! Thanks for the reassurance that it will eventually happen. The lump sum payment will definitely help catch up on everything. Did you have any issues with the back payments when they finally came through, or did everything calculate correctly?

I had the same issue this morning but just tried again (it's 11:24am now) and was able to get in and file my weekly claim. The site seems to be working again, though it's running a bit slow. Hope this helps!

@Oliver Alexander Try clearing your browser cache and cookies, then restart your browser completely. I had the same invalid "PIN error" last month even though I knew my PIN was correct. After clearing everything and restarting, it worked fine. If that doesn t'help, you might need to call and have them reset your PIN - sometimes the system locks you out after the maintenance windows.

@Oliver Alexander Same thing happened to me a few weeks ago after maintenance. The system sometimes gets confused and thinks your PIN changed even though it didn t.'I had to call the customer service line took (forever to get through but) they were able to unlock my account and confirm my PIN was still the same. Really annoying but at least it got sorted out. You might also try waiting an hour or two and trying again - sometimes it fixes itself.

I've been dealing with PA UC website issues for months now and here's what I've learned: always try to file on Sunday or Monday if possible because the system gets overwhelmed later in the week. If you're having trouble, don't panic about missing your deadline - as long as you file within your weekly filing period (which runs Sunday through Friday), you should be fine. I keep a screenshot of any error messages I get just in case I need to prove the system was down if there are any issues with my claim later. Also, if you use a password manager, sometimes that can cause problems with the PA UC site - try typing your info manually if you're getting login errors.

So glad you got this resolved! That routing error explanation makes total sense - the system probably had some kind of glitch where it defaulted to direct deposit settings even though your profile showed the debit card. Thanks for sharing the update, this will definitely help other people who run into the same issue. The fact that the rep said it's happening to "quite a few people recently" is concerning though - sounds like PA UC has a systemic problem they need to fix. At least now you know the money wasn't lost, just misdirected!

That's such a relief to hear you got it sorted out! The routing error thing is really scary though - makes me wonder how many people are dealing with this and don't know what happened to their money. I'm definitely saving this thread for future reference in case I run into payment issues. The suggestion about asking for both a payment tracer AND payment search seems really important since they're different processes. Hope your reissued payment comes through quickly!

This is really helpful information! I'm currently dealing with a similar situation where my payment shows "paid" but hasn't hit my ReliaCard yet (it's been 6 days). After reading through this thread, I'm going to call Money Network first to confirm they have no record of the payment, then use the specific terms "payment tracer" and "payment search" when I contact PA UC. The routing error you discovered is eye-opening - I never would have thought to check if my payment method got switched in their system somehow. Thanks for sharing your experience and the resolution!

Good luck with your situation! Definitely follow that exact process - call Money Network first to confirm, then use those specific terms with PA UC. Based on what Drake found out, it seems like this routing error might be more common than we thought. You might want to also double-check your payment method settings in your UC dashboard to make sure it still shows ReliaCard as selected. Sometimes the system changes things without any notification to the user. Hope you get it resolved quickly!

For anyone having technical issues with the appeals system, I recommend using these exact steps: 1. Use Chrome browser in incognito mode 2. Clear all cookies and cache before starting 3. Don't use any autofill features 4. Keep your appeal text under 800 characters (even though it allows 1000) 5. Save your appeal text in a separate document before submitting 6. Try during off-peak hours (before 7am or after 9pm) 7. If you get an error, wait 15 minutes before trying again The system has limited capacity but does work if you're strategic about it.

Thank you for the detailed instructions! I'll follow these steps exactly tomorrow morning. It's ridiculous that we need workarounds like this, but I'm grateful for the help.

I work as a paralegal and deal with UC appeals regularly. If the online system keeps failing, definitely use the backup methods others mentioned, but also consider hand-delivering your appeal to the UC office if you're near Harrisburg or one of their regional offices. They have to accept it and will give you a stamped receipt as proof. Also, when you do get through (whether online or by phone), make sure to specifically mention that you have screenshots proving you reported those hours - that's strong evidence in your favor. The appeals board takes documentation seriously, especially when there are system glitches involved. Good luck!

One more thing to try - check your PA Treasury account (not your UC account). Sometimes benefits get released but don't show up in the UC portal right away. It happened to my brother-in-law. His UC account showed open issues for weeks but the money was actually sitting in his Treasury account the whole time.

This is excellent advice. The UC portal and the Treasury payment systems don't always sync properly. You access the Treasury account through a different website than the regular UC portal.

I'm going through something similar right now - 7 weeks waiting after my appeal hearing. The frustrating part is how they act like these delays are normal when people are literally running out of money to survive. I've found that keeping detailed records of every call helps a lot. Write down the date, time, who you spoke with, and exactly what they told you. When you call back and get someone different (which always happens), you can reference the previous conversation and it seems to get better results. Also, don't let them rush you off the phone - ask questions until you understand exactly what the next step is and when it should happen. Hang in there, it does eventually get resolved but the system is definitely broken.
