Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

I swear the NYSDOL website was coded by monkeys. It's always glitching out or showing contradictory info. Hang in there OP, and definitely try to talk to a human ASAP.

Here's what you can do: 1. Try calling the unemployment office early in the morning, right when they open. Keep redialing if you get a busy signal. 2. Check if your local library or community center has public computers you can use. 3. Ask a friend or family member if you can borrow their device to file your claim. 4. Some unemployment offices have physical locations where you can file in person. Look up if there's one near you. 5. If all else fails, you might need to get your phone fixed or replaced ASAP. Some repair shops offer same-day service. Remember to explain your situation to the unemployment office. They might be able to make accommodations or extend deadlines if you're having technical difficulties. Good luck!

I filed about 6 weeks ago. Been stuck in pending limbo ever since 😩

Ah, gotcha. Yeah, for newer claims they sometimes have a different process. Might be worth checking their website for any special instructions for recent filers.
