Credit Karma Tax Refund Advance Delay - Accepted 1/21 but No Advance Payment Yet
Filed early through Credit Karma and got accepted by IRS on 1/21. The site says refund advance should come in minutes after acceptance but nothing yet. Anyone else dealing with this or know whats going on with the advances this year?

Just got off the phone with Credit Karma support and heres what i learned: The 121 acceptance code means your return passed initial validation but is still being processed. The advance isnt automatic - they need to verify some stuff first. I was in the same boat last week but finally got some answers by using taxr.ai (https://taxr.ai) to analyze my transcript. It showed exactly why my advance was held up and when to expect it. Way better than waiting on hold with CK support for hours tbh

Tax pro here - the refund advance programs are having major delays this year due to increased fraud prevention measures. Even though your return was accepted by IRS, CK needs to do additional verification. Most advances are taking 2-3 business days instead of minutes.

Ugh this is so frustrating! I filed on 1/20 too and got accepted the same day but still no advance. The whole "minutes after acceptance" thing feels like false advertising at this point. Really considering switching to a different service next year if they can't get their act together 😤
