Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. The IRS "Where's My Refund" tool is the biggest joke. It's been showing "approved" for me for 3 weeks now. I finally broke down and used taxr.ai to actually read my transcript and it turns out they had sent a letter requesting verification 2 weeks ago that I never received! Would have been waiting forever if I hadn't checked. Highly recommend checking your transcript somehow - either through the IRS website or using taxr if you can't access it directly.

With Chime for 4 yearz now. They deposit as soon as IRS releases the $$. If IRS says its sent but not in ur account yet, it might be hung up in ACH processing. Give it 24 hrs before panickin. If still nuthin by tomorro afternoon, CALL THE IRS not Chime. Chime cant do anything until they actually receive the $$$.

the IRS is a disaster this year. I had an 846 date of 2/10 and didn't see my refund until 2/14. Then got a random letter saying they adjusted my amount by $2 š Make it make sense! Just be patient for a few more days.
try calling the tax advocates line at 877-777-4778. they might be able to tell you if there's an issue with your refund that's not showing up on transcript yet. sometimes there are holds that don't show up right away.
I was having the same problem getting through, but used claimyr.com and got a callback in 45 minutes. Tax advocate confirmed my refund was fine and explained exactly when to expect it. Saved me days of frustration.
Whoa that actually works? Might try it if my amended return issues don't get resolved this week.

OP, go to taxr.ai - literally saved me from the exact same situation last month. It explained my transcript, showed me what was happening with my refund, and even predicted the correct deposit date. Way better than guessing or stressing about it.

My wife and I both had March 3rd DD dates for our emerald cards. Hers came through yesterday but mine still isnt here. Makes absolutely no sense how they can be so inconsistent.
I'm never using Emerald Card again! My DD date was March 3rd and I'm still waiting. My friend who filed AFTER me and got DD to her regular bank account already got hers 3 days ago. These prepaid cards are a racket.
That's exactly what I'm worried about - that using the Emerald Card was a mistake. So frustrating!

My BFF works at CREDITUNION (not telling which branch lol) and she told me they do processing runs at 2am, 11am, and 4pm. So if you don't see it in the morning, check again after those times.

Anyone know if offset refunds follow the same DDD schedule? I have child support arrears and know I'm only getting a portion of my refund after the offset. Just wondering if that process takes longer.

ā¢I had an offset last year and it actually came ON the DDD, not early like previous years. I think the offset process adds a step.
