If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

This is similar to what happens with regular tax refunds as well. The Where's My Refund tool often shows one status while your bank account tells a different story. When comparing the SBTG portal to other IRS systems, they all seem to suffer from the same delayed updates. I've found that direct deposit usually arrives 2-3 days before any status portal updates, while paper checks can take 5-7 days longer. I'd cautiously suggest that if your return was accepted and you haven't received any error notices, the funds are likely already in process despite what the portal shows.

Per Internal Revenue Manual 21.4.1.3(7), the update cycle for online portals occurs on a 24-hour delay from actual processing events. However, during peak periods (as defined in IRM 21.2.3), this can extend to 72-96 hours. As of April 2, 2024, the IRS is operating under Elevated Processing Protocols, which means all non-essential system updates are being queued with lower priority than actual payment processing. You should monitor your financial institution for the deposit rather than relying on the portal status. URGENT: If no deposit appears within 10 business days of acceptance, you should contact the IRS directly as this would exceed standard processing timelines even during peak periods.

Have you received any letters from the IRS? Sometimes they send notices requesting more information. Did you claim any credits? Those can delay processing. Are you checking WMR or just Netspend?

Based on what I've seen across multiple tax seasons, we're definitely experiencing longer processing times this year. In 2019, I received my refund in 6 days. In 2020, it took 9 days. Last year was about 12 days. This year, I filed on 2/15 and didn't receive my refund until 3/12 - nearly a month! The IRS is clearly struggling with volume and enhanced verification. If you don't see movement by the 30-day mark, that's when I'd start being more proactive about contacting them directly.

Be careful with SBBT. I had a similar situation where my transcript zeroed out and it took exactly 9 days to resolve. The issue was that my bank rejected the initial deposit due to a name mismatch (married name vs maiden name). SBBT had to reprocess everything. If you don't see movement in 3-4 days, I'd recommend calling SBBT directly at their customer service line rather than the IRS. The IRS won't have visibility into SBBT's processing status once they've sent the money to SBBT.

Think of your tax refund like a package being shipped. It's left the IRS warehouse (funded status) and is now on the SBBT delivery truck (unfunded with zeros). The tracking system sometimes loses visibility during the handoff, but the package is still moving. You might want to check if you have the SBBT app - it sometimes shows more current status than the IRS transcript does. Also, check your bank account directly rather than relying on the transcript status.

SBTPG delays happen every year. Common issue. Not a reason to panic yet. Check your bank account directly. Sometimes money arrives before status updates. Give it until Monday. Business days matter here. Weekend processing is slower. Call Tuesday if nothing changes. Keep documentation of everything. Screenshot your transcript. Note all contact attempts.

I was in the exact same situation last week. Waited 4 days past my DDD with SBTPG showing unfunded. I was getting really nervous about it. Then suddenly on day 5, the money just appeared in my account without any status change on SBTPG's website. Their system seems to be lagging behind actual transfers this year. I wouldn't worry too much until it's been at least 5 business days past your DDD.

I've been tracking WMR patterns since January 29th, 2024, and there's no consistent update schedule this tax season. Some people see updates on Tuesday nights, others on Friday mornings. I checked with a friend who filed on February 21st and her WMR updated on March 12th at 3:45am. Another friend who filed February 18th is still waiting with no updates as of March 25th. I'm concerned the IRS might be experiencing system delays that they're not publicly acknowledging.

Isn't it fascinating how much collective knowledge we have here about WMR patterns? The official IRS stance is that WMR updates once daily, but we all know it's more nuanced than that. I've seen returns update within hours of filing during off-peak times, while others take days despite being identical in complexity. The system clearly prioritizes certain return types and processing centers over others, regardless of what they officially state.
