Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

Has anyone successfully amended their return online? The IRS website says it's possible now, but I keep getting error messages. Not sure if it's just me or if the system is bugged.

Pro tip: if you do get through to someone, ask them to put a note on your account about the financial hardship. It might help if someone else looks at your case later.

Has anyone tried negotiating with their creditors? I've heard some are willing to reduce the total amount owed if you can pay a lump sum. Might be worth looking into if you can scrape together some cash.
