Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

Pro tip: if you get through to someone who can't help, don't hang up! Ask them to transfer you to the right department. Sometimes they can get you through faster than if you called again.

Hey OP, when exactly did you file your claim? There was a glitch in the system about a month ago that caused some claims to get stuck. Might be worth mentioning that when you call.
I filed about 6 weeks ago. Thanks for the heads up about the glitch, I'll definitely bring that up!
Unpopular opinion: maybe try going to the office in person if you can? I know its a pain, but I got my issue resolved in one day by showing up. Just bring a book and be prepared to wait.

Some offices are open for limited in-person services. Check the DEO website for locations near you. It's not advertised much, but it's an option.

Hey OP, don't forget to check if you're eligible for any of the federal extensions or additional programs. Sometimes there's extra help available that isn't super obvious on the main unemployment page.

Check the DEO website under "COVID-19 Resources" or "Federal Programs". They usually list any current extensions or additional benefits there. If you can't find it, give them a call (if you can get through lol).
