Calling is a waste of time. I spent hours trying to get through last week. Better off just waiting it out.
Actually, I found a way to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's the link: https://claimyr.com
idk if this helps, but I had a similar issue last year. Turns out they had my birthdate wrong in the system which flagged my account for review. Might be worth double-checking all your personal info is correct.

Hey, just wanted to say hang in there. I lost my job last year and it was tough, but things do get better. Use this time to maybe learn some new skills or explore different career paths. You never know what opportunities might come up!

PSA: Be careful about what info you share online when discussing unemployment. Scammers are everywhere looking to take advantage of people in vulnerable situations. Never give out your SSN or bank info to anyone claiming to be from the unemployment office!

•Thanks for the warning! I'll definitely be careful about what I share. Are there any red flags I should watch out for?

•Big red flags: anyone asking for payment to 'process' your claim, unsolicited calls/emails claiming to be from unemployment, and requests for personal info through social media. Always verify through official channels!
