Guys, I hate to say it, but sometimes you gotta play hardball. I threatened to file a complaint with the state oversight committee and suddenly my claim started moving. Just sayin' 🤷♂️
Pro tip: if you're really desperate, contact your local state representative. They can sometimes help push things along.
Quick question - did you receive a confirmation email when you first submitted your application? If not, there's a chance it didn't go through properly. Might be worth resubmitting if you can't find any proof of the original submission.
Protip: If you can, go to your local EDD office in person. I know it's a pain, but I got my issue resolved in one day after weeks of no response online and on the phone. Sometimes face-to-face is the way to go!
pro tip: if u can, get ur employer involved. sometimes they can help push things along. worth a shot!

Pro tip: if you keep getting errors, try taking screenshots. Sometimes you can use those as proof that you attempted to apply if you need to appeal later. Learned that the hard way 😓
