Has anyone had luck with the online chat feature on the PFL website? I've been thinking about trying that instead of calling.
Here's what I've learned after dealing with this for months: 1. Persistence is key. Keep calling, even if it feels hopeless. 2. Try different times of day. Early morning and late afternoon seem to work best. 3. Be prepared with all your info before you call. Have your claim number, ID, and any relevant documents ready. 4. If you get a unhelpful agent, politely end the call and try again. Some are more knowledgeable than others. 5. Consider using a call-back service if you're really stuck. It costs money, but it might be worth it if you're desperate. 6. Check for any Spanish-language community organizations in your area. They might be able to help or provide resources. 7. Document everything. Write down who you talked to, when, and what they said. Hope this helps! Hang in there, OP. We're all in the same boat.
lmao welcome to the wonderful world of government efficiency 🤡 good luck getting your money before 2025

Just a heads up, there was a news article last week saying EDD is experiencing major backlogs due to staff shortages. Might explain the delays everyone's experiencing.

•The article didn't say, unfortunately. But they're supposedly hiring more staff.
