Have you tried faxing your documents? I know it sounds old school, but sometimes that gets faster results than mailing or uploading online.
Just a heads up, EDD is really backed up right now due to all the covid stuff still. My claim took 2 months to process 😭 Hopefully yours goes faster!
Has anyone had luck getting their employer to supplement their PFL benefits? I heard some companies do that but mine is being stingy 🙄
pro tip: if you can, try calling right when they open. I always have better luck getting through early in the morning
Has anyone tried faxing their documents instead of uploading online? I've heard it can sometimes be faster. Might be worth a shot if you're really stuck.

Guys, I found a method to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video explaining it: https://youtu.be/DOLxZQb92wM

•I was skeptical too, but it really did work for me. Saved me hours of frustration.

•$20 to actually talk to a human? might be worth it at this point tbh

OP, whatever you do, DON'T give up. I know its frustrating but you'll get there. We're all in the same boat with this EDD nonsense. Keep us updated!
