If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

Anyone else notice that the EDD seems to be getting worse lately? I swear it used to be easier to get ahold of someone...

Totally agree. I think they're understaffed and overwhelmed. Doesn't make it any less frustrating for us tho 😤

Don't panic! This happens more often than you'd think. When they call, it's usually just to verify some details or ask for additional documentation. Here's what worked for me: try calling the general PFL line at 1-877-238-4373 first thing in the morning (like 8 AM sharp). If that doesn't work, you can also try the SDI line at 1-800-480-3287. In the meantime, log into your EDD account online and check for any pending tasks or messages. Sometimes they'll send you a notice through the portal even if they tried calling. The key is to respond quickly once you do connect with them. Good luck! 🤞

This is super helpful advice! I'm new to the PFL process and was wondering - when you say "respond quickly once you connect," about how long do they usually give you to provide additional documentation if they need it? I want to make sure I'm prepared with everything ready to go.

Not yet, still working on it. I'll update if I figure it out!

I ran into this exact same E324 error last year! What finally worked for me was logging out completely, waiting about 30 minutes, then logging back in with a fresh session. Also make sure you're not using any VPN or proxy - EDD's system gets really picky about that stuff. If you're still stuck, try accessing the site from a different IP address (like using your phone's hotspot instead of home wifi). The system seems to have some weird IP-blocking issues that cause these random errors. Hope this helps!

Oh wow, the IP address thing makes so much sense! I've been trying from the same home wifi this whole time. Definitely going to try switching to my phone's hotspot - never would have thought of that. Thanks for the tip about waiting 30 minutes too, I've been trying back-to-back attempts which probably isn't helping. Fingers crossed this works! 🤞

This is really helpful! I've been banging my head against the wall with this E324 error for days. Never thought about the IP blocking thing - that could totally explain why it works sometimes and not others. Going to try the phone hotspot trick right now. @Luca Russo you should definitely give this a shot too since you re'the original poster dealing with this nightmare!

Just went through this exact same thing last month! My claim showed "processed" for about 2 weeks before I actually got paid. What helped me was logging into my account daily to check for any new messages or action items - turns out I had missed a small identity verification step that was buried in the notifications. Also, definitely confirm your payment method is set up correctly. The anxiety is real when you're waiting for that money to hit! Hang in there, it will come through eventually.

Update: I finally got through to EDD this morning! They confirmed they received my bonding paperwork and that my claim is being processed. The rep said there will likely be a 7-10 day gap before my first baby bonding payment, but everything is on track. Thanks for all the helpful advice everyone!

That's great news! The 7-10 day gap is pretty standard, so it sounds like everything is proceeding normally. Enjoy your time bonding with your little one!

So glad you got confirmation from EDD! That must be such a relief. I went through this same transition 6 months ago and the waiting/uncertainty is the worst part. Once you get that first bonding payment, the rest should come regularly every two weeks. The 7-10 day gap is totally normal - I think mine was about 9 days. Take advantage of this time to rest and bond with your baby without worrying about the paperwork side of things. You did everything right!

This is so reassuring to hear from someone who just went through it! The uncertainty really is the hardest part - I keep second-guessing myself about whether I filled everything out correctly. 9 days isn't too bad at all. Thank you for the encouragement about bonding time, I definitely need to focus on enjoying this special time with my baby instead of stressing about paperwork!

That's awesome that you got it filed! For anyone else reading this thread later - I just want to emphasize how important it is to file that PFL claim early. I waited until the last week of my SDI and ended up with a 2-week gap in payments because of processing delays. The stress of no income with a newborn is not something you want to deal with! Also, keep all your documentation organized - birth certificate, doctor's notes, everything. Makes the whole process smoother.

Just wanted to add - if you're still having trouble with the SDI Online portal, you can also file the PFL claim by mail or fax. Sometimes the online system gets overwhelmed, especially during busy periods. The DE2508 form is available as a PDF on the EDD website. I had to do this route when my account kept locking me out. It took a bit longer to process (about 10 days vs 5 days online) but it worked! Also make sure to send it certified mail so you have proof they received it. The mailing address is on the form itself. Good luck with your new baby!

This is such great advice about the mail/fax option! I didn't even know that was possible. As someone new to all this, it's really reassuring to know there are backup options when the online system isn't cooperating. The certified mail tip is especially helpful - I would have never thought of that but it makes total sense to have proof of delivery. Thanks for sharing your experience! It's so helpful to hear from people who have actually been through this process.
