If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

I'm 33 weeks pregnant and just filed my SDI claim two days ago. When I logged in to check the status, I was shocked to see they have me listed under a food service job I worked at for only 8 weeks last summer ($12/hour) instead of my current position as a registered nurse where I've been for 4 years ($46/hour). I was having a complete meltdown thinking my disability benefits would be calculated based on those minimum wage food service earnings! But after reading through this entire thread, I feel SO much better. It's incredible how many people have experienced this exact same employer display issue, and even more reassuring that everyone's benefits ended up being calculated correctly based on their actual higher wages. The consistency of these success stories really gives me confidence that EDD's system works properly behind the scenes even when the display looks completely wrong. I'm definitely going to follow everyone's advice and wait for my notice of computation instead of trying to battle through their impossible phone system. Thank you all for sharing your experiences - this thread has been a total lifesaver for my anxiety! I'll update once I get my approval notice to hopefully add another positive outcome to this amazing collection of stories.

Oh my goodness, the wage difference you're dealing with is huge - $12/hour vs $46/hour as an RN! I would have been having a complete meltdown too. I'm only 20 weeks pregnant but already worried about filing my own claim in a few months after reading about all these potential complications. But this thread has been such an eye-opener - it's amazing how this employer display glitch seems to affect people across so many different professions, yet everyone's getting their correct benefit amounts based on their actual wages. Your nursing salary should definitely result in much better disability benefits than those food service wages! It's so reassuring to see how many healthcare workers specifically have shared their experiences here and had everything work out correctly despite the scary display issue. I'm definitely bookmarking this thread for when it's my turn to file - thank you for adding your story to this incredible collection of experiences that's helping so many expectant moms!

I'm 23 weeks pregnant and haven't filed my claim yet, but this thread has been absolutely invaluable to read! I had no idea this employer display issue was so common. I currently work as a marketing coordinator ($28/hour) but had a brief retail job last year ($11/hour), so I'll definitely be prepared if they show the wrong employer when I file in a few months. It's so reassuring to see that despite this scary-looking glitch, everyone's benefits are getting calculated correctly based on their actual wage history. Thank you all for documenting your experiences so thoroughly - you're saving so many future moms from unnecessary panic attacks! I'll definitely come back to share my own experience when the time comes.

Update: I was able to access my 1099-G through the website that @helpfultaxpro mentioned! It's different from the SDI Online portal, but once I created an account, I could see my tax form was already available. Thanks everyone for your help!

Great to hear! Glad you found it. The EDD systems can be confusing since they have different portals for different functions. Good luck with your taxes!

That's awesome that you found it online! For anyone else reading this thread, I just want to add that even though Oliver found his form, it's still worth double-checking the taxability issue that Kevin mentioned earlier. I made the mistake of assuming my SDI benefits were taxable when they actually weren't since I paid the premiums myself. Ended up having to file an amended return. If you paid SDI through payroll deductions (which most CA employees do), your benefits are likely not taxable income, but you should still report receiving the 1099-G. Definitely worth consulting a tax pro if you're unsure!

This is really helpful advice! I'm new here and currently waiting for my disability approval, but it's good to know about the taxability issue ahead of time. So just to clarify - if I check my old pay stubs and see SDI deductions coming out of my paycheck, that means I paid with after-tax dollars and the benefits wouldn't be taxable? I want to make sure I understand this correctly for when I eventually need to deal with taxes.

I totally feel your stress about this! I went through something similar a few months back and it turned out there was a small verification issue I had completely overlooked. Definitely start by logging into your EDD portal and checking every single section - not just the main page. Look under History, Inbox, Notifications, and Claim Details. Sometimes there's a tiny task or request hiding there that's blocking everything. Also double-check that your bank info is still correct - I've heard of people having delays because their bank changed something on their end. If you don't find anything obvious, try using the secure messaging system through your account instead of calling. It takes longer but you'll actually get a real response. And if you're still stuck after a week or so, definitely reach out to your assembly member's office like others mentioned - apparently they have people who specialize in EDD issues. Hang in there, these delays are super frustrating but they usually do get resolved eventually! 💙

This is really solid advice, Sebastián! I'm new to dealing with EDD and honestly had no idea there were so many different sections to check in the portal. I've been making the same mistake as everyone else - just looking at the main dashboard and getting more worried when nothing changes. The point about banks potentially changing something on their end is really important too - I wouldn't have thought of that. It's reassuring to hear from so many people who have actually gotten through these delays successfully. The waiting is definitely the hardest part when you're stressed about bills, but reading all these responses gives me hope that there's usually a solution, even if the system is frustrating. Thanks for sharing your experience! 🙏

I'm so sorry you're dealing with this stress, Isaiah! Payment delays are unfortunately way too common with EDD. From my experience, here's what I'd recommend: First, log into your EDD portal and check EVERY section - History, Inbox, Notifications, Claim Summary - not just the main dashboard. I missed a pending ID verification request for weeks because it was buried in the History section. Second, verify your banking info is still correct - sometimes banks update account details without us realizing. Third, check your email spam folder for any EDD notices you might have missed. If you still can't find the issue, try the secure messaging system through your portal instead of calling - it's slower but you'll get an actual response. And if it's been over a week, definitely contact your assembly member's office like others mentioned - they have EDD specialists who can often resolve these issues much faster than normal channels. I know waiting when you need money for bills is absolutely terrible, but most of these delays do get sorted out eventually. Keep us updated on what you find! 🤞

I'm going through this exact same situation right now! My extension was approved 6 days ago and I can see the updated benefit period in my SDI Online account, but there's absolutely no continued claim certification form anywhere - not in my inbox, Forms tab, or physical mail. I've been checking multiple times daily and getting increasingly worried about my bills. This thread has been such a relief to find - I had no idea about the DE 2502 form or that extensions required this separate certification step. It's absolutely ridiculous that EDD sends that "extension approved" text but fails to mention "by the way, you'll need to complete another form to actually receive your payments!" Based on everyone's advice here, I'm definitely going to try the 8am calling strategy tomorrow. I've noted down the key questions to ask: - Specifically ask about the DE 2502 Continued Claim Certification form - Check for any "system flags" or data entry errors on my account - Ask about pending actions that might be blocking the form from generating - Verify all personal information is entered correctly in their system It's honestly appalling that we're all here doing EDD's job for them, troubleshooting their broken system and helping each other navigate what should be a straightforward government process. But I'm incredibly grateful for this community support when you're already stressed about medical issues and financial pressure! @Andre Laurent I hope you were able to get through and resolve this! Thanks to everyone who shared their experiences - this collective wisdom is more valuable than anything EDD has provided. I'll update tomorrow after my call in case it helps others dealing with this bureaucratic nightmare. We shouldn't have to become EDD system experts just to get our own benefits!

@Grant Vikers I m'new to this community but I ve'been following this thread and I m'honestly amazed at how many people are dealing with this exact same issue! It s'really eye-opening to see how EDD s'system has such a widespread problem with missing certification forms after extensions get approved, yet they don t'seem to acknowledge it or fix the root cause. Your plan for calling at 8am tomorrow sounds solid based on all the successful strategies people have shared here. The fact that so many people have had to become amateur EDD troubleshooters just to access their own benefits is absolutely mind-blowing. It really shows how broken the system is when there are entire threads like this dedicated to helping each other navigate what should be basic government services. I m'particularly struck by some of the success stories shared here - like @Aiden Rodríguez discovering it was just a simple data entry error, or @Sofia Perez getting through by asking specifically about system flags. It "gives me" hope that once you reach the right person, these issues can often be resolved pretty quickly. Good luck with your call tomorrow! I really hope you get through and get this sorted out. Please do update us on how it goes - your experience could definitely help others who find this thread in the future. This community has created such a valuable resource for people dealing with EDD s bureaucratic maze!'

I'm dealing with this exact same nightmare right now! My extension was approved 10 days ago and shows correctly in my SDI Online account, but there's absolutely no continued claim certification form anywhere - not in my inbox, Forms tab, or physical mail. I've been checking obsessively and my anxiety is through the roof as bills keep piling up. This thread has been such a godsend - I had absolutely no clue about the DE 2502 form or that extensions required this separate certification step. It's completely insane that EDD sends that "extension approved" text but conveniently leaves out the crucial detail that you need to complete ANOTHER form to actually get your money! Reading through everyone's experiences, it's clear this is a massive systematic failure on EDD's part. The fact that so many of us are dealing with the identical issue - extension approved, benefit period updated, but no certification form generated - shows there's something seriously broken in their system. I'm definitely going to try the 8am calling strategy tomorrow based on all the success stories here. I've written down the key questions: - Ask specifically about the DE 2502 Continued Claim Certification form - Check for "system flags" or data entry errors on my account - Ask about any pending actions blocking the form from generating - Verify all my personal info is correct in their system It's absolutely ridiculous that we've all had to become EDD system analysts just to get benefits we've already paid into, but I'm so grateful for this community helping each other survive their bureaucratic maze. This thread has more useful information than anything EDD has ever provided! Will definitely update tomorrow after my call - hopefully with good news that can help others going through this same nightmare. Thanks everyone for sharing your experiences and keeping each other sane through this mess! 🙏

I'm dealing with this exact same issue right now! It's so frustrating when something as basic as getting a form becomes this complicated. I've been checking my mailbox religiously for weeks now with nothing. Based on all the great advice here, I'm going to try multiple approaches: - Email that correspondence address with "URGENT" in the subject line - Try calling early morning when they open - Check if I can download a blank form from their website as a backup It really shouldn't be this hard to get the forms we need to continue receiving benefits we're entitled to. The system definitely needs fixing, but in the meantime we just have to work with what we've got. @Adrian Connor - definitely try that email method first since it seems to have worked for several people here. And don't give up on calling even though it's a pain. Persistence seems to be key with EDD unfortunately. Hope you get this sorted out soon! Keep us updated on what works for you. 🤞

I'm in the exact same boat as you and @Adrian Connor! It's reassuring to know we're not alone in this mess, but also frustrating that so many people are dealing with the same mail delivery issues. I've been waiting for my 2525 form for almost 3 weeks now and my deadline is coming up fast. Thanks for summarizing all the strategies from this thread - I'm definitely going to try the email approach first thing tomorrow morning. The fact that multiple people have had success with that correspondence email gives me hope. If that doesn't work quickly enough, I'll move on to the early morning calling strategy. It's crazy that we have to become detective-level researchers just to figure out how to get basic government services! But I really appreciate everyone sharing their experiences and tips here. This community is a lifesaver when the official system fails us. 🙏

I've been lurking on this thread because I'm dealing with the exact same issue - my 2525 form never showed up either and my certification deadline is in just a few days! Reading through everyone's experiences here has been incredibly helpful. I'm definitely going to try that email approach to [email protected] first thing tomorrow with "URGENT: Missing Form 2525" in the subject line like @Jasmine Hancock suggested. It sounds like that's had the best success rate based on what people are sharing here. If that doesn't work fast enough, I'll try the early morning calling strategy and maybe even look into that fax option someone mentioned. It's ridiculous that we have to jump through all these hoops just to get a basic form, but I appreciate everyone sharing what actually works in practice. @Adrian Connor - hoping you get this resolved soon! Please update us on whether the email method works for you. This whole thread is going to help so many people dealing with the same mail delivery nightmare. 🤞

Same here! I've been following this thread closely because I'm in an almost identical situation. My 2525 form disappeared into the postal void somewhere and my deadline is creeping up fast too. It's both comforting and concerning that this seems to be such a widespread issue right now. I'm planning to send that urgent email first thing tomorrow morning as well. The fact that so many people have had success with that specific approach gives me some hope. If we all send emails around the same time, maybe they'll realize how big this mail delivery problem really is! @Adrian Connor @Vanessa Chang - would love to hear updates from both of you on how the email method goes. Maybe we can all compare notes on response times and what worked best. Fingers crossed we all get this sorted before our deadlines! 🤞
