Pro tip: if you can't get through on the main line, try calling some of the other EDD numbers. Sometimes you can get transferred to the right department that way.
This actually works! I got through using the employer line and they were able to help me.
Anyone else notice that the website is always "undergoing maintenance" when you need it most? 🙄
I swear they do it on purpose to reduce claims or something. #conspiracy
have u tried threatening them with legal action? sometimes that lights a fire under their a**es 😈
Woah, slow down there cowboy. Let's not go nuclear just yet. Try the other suggestions first before bringing lawyers into it.
I'm in the same boat. Been waiting on my claim for weeks now. These insurance companies are all the same - happy to take our money but drag their feet when it's time to pay out. Hang in there, OP. We're all in this together 💪
lol welcome to the club. their system is a joke. good luck getting it fixed 🤡
PSA: There's a new online portal for checking claim status. Might be worth looking into before you call. Sometimes it has more up-to-date info than the reps.
Thanks for the tip! I'll def check that out before I call. Every bit of info helps.
anyone else feel like we need a support group for dealing with EDD? 😅 this stuff is more stressful than my actual job lol

Pro tip: If you're getting a lot of important emails in Spanish, you might want to set up a filter in your email client. You can have all Spanish emails automatically tagged or moved to a specific folder. That way, you won't miss anything important!

Have you tried calling the sender directly? Sometimes its easiest to just pick up the phone and ask whats going on. Don't let the language barrier scare you - most places have bilingual staff these days.
