Update us when you hear something! Always good to know current processing times. Fingers crossed it comes through soon.
If you do need to talk to someone at Washington ESD, I had success with Claimyr recently. Took about 20 minutes to get connected versus the hours I was spending calling directly. Worth checking out their demo video to see if it might help your situation.
Several people have mentioned Claimyr now. I might give it a try if I don't hear anything by next week.
One more thing - make sure you keep good records of all your unemployment payments in case there are any discrepancies with the 1099-G form when you get it.
I successfully got unemployment after quitting due to harassment, but it took a lot of preparation. I had to provide detailed statements, witness contact information, and documentation of my attempts to resolve the issues internally.
Bottom line - you CAN get unemployment after quitting, but you need to have legitimate good cause and be able to prove it. Don't quit impulsively if you can avoid it. Plan it out and gather your evidence first.
UPDATE: Just got the direct deposit notification! Payment came through exactly 3 business days after my claim showed as processed. Thanks everyone for the help and encouragement - this thread really helped ease my anxiety about the timing.
Glad everything worked out! For anyone still struggling with Washington ESD communication issues, definitely check out that Claimyr service. It's been a game changer for actually getting through to talk to someone when you have questions or problems.

One last thing - if your employer offers severance pay, that might affect when you can start collecting unemployment. Check with Washington ESD about how severance impacts your eligibility timing.

•I'm not getting severance, but that's good to know for others who might be.

•Yeah severance can delay when your benefits start. Another reason to talk to Washington ESD directly if you have questions.

Thanks everyone for all the helpful advice! I feel much more prepared now. I'll file my claim on Sunday after my last day and make sure I have all my documents ready. Hopefully the process goes smoothly.

•And remember, if you need to actually speak with someone at Washington ESD and can't get through, Claimyr is there as an option. Sometimes talking to a real person makes all the difference.
