Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

Good luck with your application! Most people get approved without major issues. The waiting is the hardest part but once you're in the system and filing weekly claims it becomes routine.

Just remember to be patient with the process. Washington ESD handles thousands of claims and sometimes things take longer than expected. But the benefits are there to help you get back on your feet, so don't let the bureaucracy discourage you from applying.
Definitely won't let it discourage me. I need these benefits to keep my apartment while I job search.

I'm in the same boat - benefits running out next month and no job yet. Reading all these comments is pretty depressing but at least I know what to expect now.
Yeah it's not great news but better to know the reality than be surprised. Hang in there!
Keep applying and networking. Something will come up eventually. The job market is still tough but it's slowly getting better.
One thing to keep in mind is that if you do find work, even part-time, you might be able to do a partial claim depending on your earnings. That could help bridge the gap while you look for full-time work.
I didn't know about partial claims. How does that work exactly?
If you work part-time and earn less than your weekly benefit amount plus $5, you can still get partial unemployment benefits. It's worth looking into.

If all else fails and you need to talk to someone at Washington ESD, I've heard that Claimyr service mentioned here actually works. My cousin used it when her claim got stuck in adjudication and she finally got answers.
Three people have mentioned Claimyr now. Must actually work if people keep recommending it.
Yeah I'm seeing it mentioned more and more on these forums. Might be worth trying if the regular phone lines aren't working.
