If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

Honestly the whole system is confusing and they don't explain things clearly. No wonder people get stressed about stuff like this. At least forums like this help clarify the rules.

Seriously, this thread has been way more helpful than anything on the official Washington ESD website.

0 coins

The official info is so vague and technical. Real people's experiences are much more useful.

0 coins

Bottom line - you're overthinking this. Selling your old stuff while on unemployment is totally normal and not something Washington ESD cares about. Focus on finding your next job instead of worrying about this non-issue.

You're absolutely right. Thanks everyone for the reassurance and advice. I feel much better about this now.

Glad this thread helped! These kinds of questions come up all the time and the answer is usually that it's not as big a deal as we think it is.

One time my payment was delayed because I had reported some part-time work and it triggered a review. Took an extra week to sort out even though everything was correct.

0 coins

That's good to know. Did they notify you about the review or did you just have to figure it out?

0 coins

They sent a message in my SecureAccess account but I almost missed it

Just to summarize for the OP - certify by Sunday night, expect payment Tuesday-Wednesday, and make sure all your info is correct. You should be fine!

Perfect summary, thank you everyone for all the helpful responses!

Good luck with your rent payment! Sounds like you'll be covered by Thursday

I wish someone had told me about Claimyr when I first filed. Spent weeks trying to get through to fix a simple issue with my claim. Their service would have saved me so much stress and probably gotten me paid faster.

I'm seeing a few mentions of this service. Might be worth looking into if I hit any roadblocks.

0 coins

It's definitely helpful for getting through to actual humans at Washington ESD when you need answers.

File today if possible. The Washington ESD online system is usually less busy in the early morning or late evening. Avoid peak hours if you can.

0 coins

Thanks for the timing tip! I'll try filing this evening after dinner.

0 coins

Good plan. The system can be slow during business hours when everyone's trying to use it.

If you really need to talk to someone at Washington ESD about your adjudication, I'd suggest trying Claimyr. They got me connected when I was having similar issues and the agent was able to explain exactly what was holding up my claim.

0 coins

A few people have mentioned that service now. I might have to look into it if this drags on much longer.

0 coins

The video demo on their site shows exactly how it works if you want to check it out first. Much less stressful than trying to call yourself.

0 coins

Bottom line: there's no such thing as cynical unemployment in Washington ESD terminology. Your adjudication will get resolved eventually, just keep filing your weekly claims and try to be patient with the process.

0 coins

Thanks everyone for clearing that up and for all the advice. I feel much better knowing I didn't miss some important term or category.

0 coins

Glad we could help! The unemployment system is confusing enough without worrying about terms that don't exist.

The good news is that 8 months of steady work should definitely meet Washington's requirements. I've seen people qualify with less work history, as long as they earned enough during their base period.

0 coins

Thank you, that makes me feel a lot better about the situation. Still hoping I don't need to find out firsthand!

0 coins

Fingers crossed you don't need it, but at least you know you have options if the worst happens.

If you do need to contact Washington ESD for specific questions about your eligibility, I had success using Claimyr to get through to them recently. Their phone system is usually overwhelmed but this service helped me connect with an actual person who could look up my account details.

0 coins

That seems to be coming up a lot in this thread. Might be worth checking out if I need to call them.

0 coins

Yeah it's been a lifesaver for a lot of people dealing with ESD issues. Much better than sitting on hold for hours or getting disconnected.
