Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

Thanks everyone for all the helpful info! Sounds like I can make this work as long as I'm proactive about reporting the move and getting approval for job search changes. Really appreciate all the advice.

I've been on unemployment for 6 months now and the payment timing has been super consistent. File Sunday afternoon, money in account Tuesday morning like clockwork.
That's reassuring! Sounds like once you're in the system it works pretty smoothly.
Yeah, the hardest part was just getting approved initially. After that it's been smooth sailing.
Just want to echo what others have said - typically 2-3 business days is the norm. If it ever takes longer than that, definitely contact Washington ESD to make sure there isn't an issue with your claim.

If you run into any issues with your claim calculation or need to speak with Washington ESD about your benefit amount, definitely consider using Claimyr. I wasted so much time trying to get through on my own when I could have just paid for their service and gotten answers immediately.

Remember you can also check your claim status and payment history online anytime through your ESD account. That's usually faster than calling for basic information.
True, though sometimes the online account doesn't show everything or there are technical issues. Having a way to actually talk to someone when needed is important too.

For what it's worth, I moved from Spokane to the Tri-Cities area last year and found way more opportunities in my field. Sometimes it's not about the overall county unemployment but whether there are jobs in YOUR specific industry.

Just wanted to add that if you do end up needing to file for unemployment in a new county, the process is the same statewide but some local WorkSource offices are definitely more helpful than others. Might be worth factoring that into your decision too.
