Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

Been there, done that. Having both unemployment and SNAP made a huge difference during my job search. Gave me the breathing room I needed to find something good instead of just taking the first thing available.

About 4 months, but I was able to be selective and found a job that paid better than my previous one. The benefits really helped me not panic and make bad decisions.

I think the bottom line is you need to pick one or the other. Don't try to game the system - it's not worth the risk and you'll probably get caught.
Agreed. I'd rather be safe and follow the rules properly than risk fraud charges.

Another Claimyr success story here - used them when I got confused about whether my temp agency assignments counted toward job search activities. Got a clear answer from Washington ESD within 30 minutes instead of playing phone tag for weeks.
What did they tell you about temp assignments? I'm in a similar situation.
They said registering with temp agencies counts as one job search activity, but each individual assignment doesn't count separately. You still need to do additional search activities beyond just temp work.
The 3 job search activities per week is the minimum, but honestly doing more is better for actually finding work. I usually do 5-6 activities per week because I want to get off unemployment as soon as possible.
Same here. I figure the more effort I put in, the faster I'll find something. Plus it gives me a buffer in case one week I can't find 3 good opportunities.

If anyone else is struggling to get through to Washington ESD about earnings questions or anything else, that Claimyr service mentioned earlier is legit. Just make sure you keep job searching while working part-time. You still need to meet the work search requirements even if you're working some hours each week.
