If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

I tried that Claimyr thing too after seeing it mentioned here. Worked great for getting through to ask about my adjudication issue. Way better than the endless busy signals I was getting before.

OK you've convinced me. Three people now saying it works. I'm going to check out that demo video and probably give it a try.

Yeah it's worth it just for the peace of mind of knowing you'll actually get to talk to someone instead of wasting hours calling.

Thanks for all the info everyone. This has been way more helpful than the Washington ESD website FAQ section. At least now I know what to expect when I file my claim.

You're welcome! Feel free to come back if you have more questions once you start the claims process. Lots of helpful people here.

Will do. This community seems really supportive compared to some other forums I've looked at.

Honestly the hardest part for me wasn't filing the initial claim, it was remembering to file the weekly claims every single week. Set a reminder on your phone or calendar because missing even one week can mess things up.

0 coins

I do mine every Sunday morning. The system is usually less busy then and it's a good way to start the week with that task done.

0 coins

I set a recurring alarm for Sunday at 9am. After a few weeks it becomes routine.

Hope everything works out for you OP! The waiting and uncertainty is the worst part, but once you get into the rhythm of weekly claims and job searching, it becomes more manageable.

Thanks everyone for all the helpful advice! I feel much more prepared now.

One more thing - if you worked in multiple states recently, you might need to file in a different state depending on where you earned the most wages. Check the ESD website for interstate claim info.

I only worked in Washington so I should be good. Thanks for all the help everyone!

Good luck with your claim! It's stressful but you'll get through it. Just remember to file those weekly claims religiously.

Will do. Feeling much more confident about the process now.

One last tip - sign up for WorkSourceWA too. It's Washington's job search website and sometimes they have resources and job fairs that can help with your search.

0 coins

Is that required or just recommended?

0 coins

I think it's technically required to register with WorkSource, but even if it wasn't it's a good resource to have.

The most important thing is to be honest and thorough in all your reporting. The state has ways of checking everything and it's not worth the risk to try to game the system.

0 coins

Definitely keeping that in mind. Better to be overly honest than risk having to pay everything back.

0 coins

Exactly. The penalties for fraud are severe, so just be straightforward about everything.

can confirm wednesday payments with bank of america. usually shows up around 8am wednesday morning if i file sunday evening

0 coins

Good to know! Seems like most major banks are pretty consistent with Wednesday timing.

0 coins

same with US Bank - always wednesday morning for me

Thanks everyone for all the info! This thread answered way more questions than I expected. Sounds like Wednesday is the magic day for most people, and I'll know to check my account for issues if it's later than Thursday.

Happy to help! Payment timing is one of the most common questions people have about unemployment.

Glad we could provide some clarity. The Washington ESD system can be confusing, but once you understand the timing it's more predictable.
