Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

Ugh, employers always try to make it sound like misconduct when they fire someone. Half the time it's just to avoid paying higher unemployment insurance rates. Washington ESD sees through this stuff - they deal with employer contests all the time.

Been there! Got fired for 'not being a team player' but really it was because I wouldn't cover for a coworker who was always late. Washington ESD approved my claim in about 2 weeks. The employer didn't even bother to contest it once they realized their reason was flimsy.
That gives me hope. Sounds like Washington ESD is pretty fair about these situations.

Just wanted to add that if your claim does go into adjudication for any reason, don't panic. It's pretty common and usually resolves within a few weeks. That's when having a way to actually talk to Washington ESD becomes really valuable.
Lots of things - questions about your job separation, wage discrepancies, eligibility issues. Most get resolved quickly once they review your information.
This is exactly when I ended up using Claimyr. Had an adjudication issue that lasted weeks until I could actually talk to someone and get it sorted out.

Final tip - don't take too long to file. There are time limits on unemployment claims and you want to get the process started ASAP. Even if you're nervous about it, just submit the application.
Already submitted it yesterday after reading all these responses. Feeling much more prepared now thanks to everyone's help!

make sure you keep filing your weekly claims even if they're stuck in adjudication. you don't want to miss any deadlines while waiting for the system to catch up
