Just went through this exact same situation last month. The waiting period is nerve-wracking but totally normal. In my case, I filed my initial claim on a Monday, got approved within a week, did my first weekly claim that Sunday, and then had to wait through the mandatory waiting week. My first actual payment hit my account on a Wednesday about 2.5 weeks after filing. The key thing is to keep doing your weekly claims religiously even while waiting - missing even one can throw off your whole payment schedule. Also double-check your direct deposit info is correct in your account settings. Hang in there, it does come through!

One other thing to check - log in to your SAW account directly (not through the ESD link) and see if there are any identity verification notices there. Sometimes those don't show up properly in the ESD portal. Also, double-check that all your contact information is up-to-date in both systems. If you've been waiting more than 3 weeks with no change in status, reaching a claims agent is really your best option. Unfortunately, the phone system is completely overwhelmed right now due to the seasonal layoffs in construction and hospitality.
Update: I finally got through to ESD this morning after trying the suggestions here! The agent said my claim was flagged for manual review because I had two employers in the past 18 months (my full-time job and a weekend side gig). They needed additional information about my side job that wasn't requested in the original application. The agent was able to take the information over the phone and said my claim should be processed within 72 hours. Thanks everyone for your help and suggestions!
I tried calling Washington ESD about this same issue but couldn't get through. Ended up using Claimyr like others mentioned and got connected right away. The agent walked me through the whole benefit year extension process step by step. Much better than trying to figure it out from the website alone.
That's the third person in this thread who mentioned Claimyr. Must actually work.
I'm going through this exact same situation right now! My benefit year ends in about 10 days and I was totally lost about what to do next. This thread has been incredibly helpful - I had no idea I needed to file a completely new claim. I've been unemployed for almost the full year and was worried my benefits would just disappear. That date discrepancy issue is way more common than people realize! I had something similar happen with a previous claim where there was confusion about my last day worked vs when I was officially terminated. The good news is that once ESD clarifies the dates with your employer, it usually resolves pretty quickly. I'm going through something very similar! Filed in late December and got my approval letter last week, but everything is still showing "in adjudication" in my account. It's so confusing getting that approval letter only to find out you're still not getting paid. I think my situation might also be a date problem because I was laid off on a Friday but my employer had me finish out the week, so there might be confusion about my actual last day. My sister had her hearing back in January and she got her letter in exactly 9 days. Apparently it took so long because the judge was writing up a really detailed explanation. She won her case btw, after being denied initially. So don't lose hope!

One thing I'm curious about - for those who won their appeals, did you notice any changes in your eServices account before the letter arrived? I've been checking it obsessively but not sure what exactly to look for. Also, has anyone had success calling that OAH number that Sergio mentioned to check on status? Based on what you described about the employer not showing up and you having documentation, it sounds like you have a strong case.
