when i had this happen to me last month i was freaking out too but then it just suddenly showed approved in my account one morning!! no email or anything just check ur account everyday
UPDATE: Got through to ESD this morning! Used that Claimyr service I mentioned earlier and only had to wait about 20 minutes before speaking to someone. The agent confirmed they received my separation information and said my claim should be processed within 7-10 business days. She also suggested that I check my correspondence tab daily since that's where the decision will first appear. Feeling much better now having an actual timeframe! For anyone else stuck in adjudication limbo, I seriously recommend finding a way to speak directly with an agent rather than just waiting. Makes a huge difference to have actual information.
Thank you SO much for this update! I'm going to try Claimyr tomorrow morning. Even if they just tell me the same 7-10 day timeframe, at least I'll know they have everything they need and haven't forgotten about my claim. Really appreciate you coming back to share this!
After it shows paid, the standard processing time is 24-72 hours, excluding weekends and holidays. I've been through this a few times during seasonal layoffs. First payment after approval sometimes takes a bit longer because they're processing multiple weeks at once. I suggest checking your bank account tomorrow morning - many banks post ACH transfers overnight. Also, make sure you continue filing your weekly claims while waiting for this payment to process.
UPDATE: The TAB key method worked! I was able to finally get past the Read and Certify screen by using Tab to highlight the button and then pressing Enter. Submitted my claim successfully. Thank you all for your help! For anyone else having this issue, definitely try the keyboard navigation instead of mouse clicking.
I had a similiar problem but it was actually cuz I was answering one of the questions wrong. The system doesnt tell you which question is wrong it just gets stuck. For me it was the question about being able/available for work - I said no because I had a doctors appointment one day but apparently thats not what they mean by that question. Once I changed my answer it went through fine. Maybe double check your answers?
BTW i fogot to mention... make absolutely SURE you call in 5-10 minutes early for your hearing!!! My judge was super strict about timing and actually noted in the record that I was "punctual" which I think helped my case lol. Also don't interrupt the judge EVER even if they say something wrong just wait your turn to speak!!!
One more tip - if the judge rules in your favor during the hearing, ask them specifically when you can expect the decision to be finalized and sent to ESD. Then mark your calendar for about 2 weeks after that date, and if you haven't seen movement on your claim by then, that's when you should contact ESD directly. Often the decision gets made but sits in someone's queue at ESD for processing.

Don't stress too much about this. Yes, ESD's systems are frustrating, but they do eventually sort things out. Just make sure you're completely honest about everything. The worst thing you can do is try to hide information because you're worried about delays. That's what really triggers the fraud investigations that can take months to resolve.

•You're right - I need to just be completely transparent. It's hard not to stress when rent is due though! I appreciate the reassurance.

Based on all the advice here, I'd recommend taking these steps immediately: 1. Send that detailed message through eServices explaining the date discrepancy 2. Get documentation from your supervisor about your actual last day worked 3. Continue filing weekly claims accurately, reporting any additional income 4. If you don't see movement within a week, try to speak with an ESD representative directly The good news is that date mismatches are common enough that there are established procedures for handling them. The key is documenting everything clearly.

•Thank you! I've already sent the message and reached out to my former supervisor. They've agreed to provide a letter confirming April 15th was my last working day. Fingers crossed this gets resolved quickly!
