If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

That's a really good suggestion. My sister went through this a few years ago so maybe I'll ask her to help.

Just make sure she's familiar with current rules - they've changed some things since the pandemic.

Don't panic if the application seems long or confusing. Take your time and read each question carefully. It's better to spend an extra 10 minutes being thorough than to have to fix mistakes later.

You've got this! Just remember to file your weekly claims on time once you're approved.

And don't hesitate to use resources like Claimyr if you get stuck and need to reach someone at Washington ESD. Good luck!

Hope your claim goes smoothly! Keep us updated on how the process goes. Always helpful to hear real experiences with Washington ESD claims.

Will do! I'll report back once I know more about how it all works out.

And remember, if you need to actually talk to someone at Washington ESD about your claim status or have questions, services like Claimyr can save you a lot of frustration trying to get through on the phone. Sometimes you just need to speak with a real person to get answers.

0 coins

I'll keep that in mind. The phone system can be really frustrating when you have urgent questions.

One more thing - keep all your documentation! Pay stubs, termination letter, anything related to your employment. Washington ESD might ask for additional verification even if your claim seems straightforward.

Good point, I'll make sure to keep everything organized. Better safe than sorry.

Yeah, they love asking for random documents weeks after you file. Having everything ready saves a lot of headaches.

For what it's worth, I had a similar work situation and got about $420/week. The money helped bridge the gap while I found something better. Just stay on top of your weekly filings and job search requirements.

0 coins

That's really helpful to know! $420 would definitely help cover my basic expenses. Thanks for sharing your experience.

One last thing - your benefit amount can change if you go back to work part-time or if Washington ESD discovers unreported wages. Always report everything accurately to avoid overpayment issues later.

Good reminder. I'll be extra careful about reporting any income while collecting.

0 coins

overpayments are a huge hassle, definitely better to be conservative and report everything

Thanks to everyone who contributed to this thread! Really helpful to get real numbers and experiences from people actually going through the Washington ESD system.

Agreed, this was way more helpful than the official website. Good luck to everyone with their claims!

Just want to add that even if your appeal is successful, it can take a while to actually receive the back payments. Be prepared for that delay too.

0 coins

Good to know. This whole process is taking way longer than I expected.

0 coins

The most important thing is don't give up. I know people who have successfully appealed disqualifications that seemed hopeless at first. If you were truly laid off, you deserve those benefits.

0 coins

Thank you, that's encouraging. I'm definitely going to file the appeal this week.

Good luck! Keep us posted on how it goes.
