If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

glad we could help! the unemployment system is confusing enough without going in blind. good luck with your claim!

Don't overthink it too much. I was terminated for 'poor fit' with the team and got approved for benefits no problem. Washington ESD sees these cases all the time and they know the difference between actual misconduct and just not working out at a job.

Thanks, I needed to hear that. I've been spiraling thinking about worst case scenarios.

Totally understand that anxiety. Focus on filing your claim and looking for new work. You'll probably be approved and can move forward.

Update us on how it goes! I'm always curious to hear how these situations turn out. Hoping Washington ESD approves your claim quickly so you can focus on finding something better.

Will do! Thanks everyone for all the helpful advice. Feeling much more confident about applying now.

Good luck! You've got this. The worst part is usually the uncertainty, but it sounds like you have a solid case.

My benefit amount was way lower than I expected because I had some part-time work mixed in with my full-time job. The calculation gets complicated when you have multiple employers.

I have a side gig too, should I be worried about this affecting my benefits?

0 coins

It depends on how much you made from each job. Washington ESD counts all wages in your base period, but the calculation can get tricky.

Pro tip: if you're having trouble reaching Washington ESD about your benefit calculation or any other issues, I found that calling right when they open at 8am gives you the best chance of getting through. Still took me 15 tries but eventually worked.

I tried that strategy for weeks and never got through. That's when I decided to try Claimyr and actually got connected to someone who could help.

Never heard of that before, might be worth looking into if I have more issues.

Has anyone mentioned checking if Boeing offers any bridge programs or COBRA extensions that might be better than trying to get UI? Sometimes employer benefits are more reliable.

Good suggestion. I should definitely explore all my options with HR before making any final decisions.

Final thought - if you do decide to pursue this, document everything from day one. Every job application, every contact with Washington ESD, every piece of correspondence. You'll need it all if you have to appeal.

Great advice. Thanks to everyone who shared their experiences and suggestions.

Good luck with whatever you decide. Early retirement decisions are never easy.

Quick question - if I file for unemployment but then find a job before the claim is processed, do I need to cancel the claim or just stop filing weekly claims?

0 coins

You should report the job when you file your next weekly claim. The system will automatically stop your benefits once you report full-time employment.

Thanks! I have a promising interview next week so I wanted to know what to do if it works out.

0 coins

Bottom line - file your claim. Don't try to second-guess whether you'll be approved or not. Let Washington ESD make that determination. You've paid into the system and you deserve to have your case heard fairly.

0 coins

You're absolutely right. I'm going to file today. Thanks everyone for all the advice and encouragement!

Good luck! Remember to keep detailed records of everything and don't give up if you get an initial denial. The appeals process exists for a reason.
