Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Does anyone know if there are different rules for part-time workers? I was only working 25 hours a week when I got laid off.
What's the base period? I keep seeing that term but don't understand it.
It's the first 4 of the last 5 completed calendar quarters before you file your claim. That's what they use to calculate your benefits.
