Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. if you run into any technical issues with the website or your account gets locked definitely try that claimyr thing people mentioned. i spent days trying to reset my password and couldn't get through to tech support

Exactly - having alternatives when the regular system fails you is crucial. The last thing you want is to miss filing your weekly claim because of technical problems.

I'm curious about the timeline here. How quickly do you have to respond to a job offer? I got one on Friday afternoon and they want an answer by Monday morning.
That's a pretty tight timeline. You should be able to ask for a few days to consider, especially if you need time to evaluate whether it meets Washington ESD's suitability criteria.
I asked for until Wednesday and they agreed. Gives me time to think it through properly.

The benefit year ending date is also important for tax purposes. Make sure you keep track of which payments came from which benefit year for your tax forms.
Oh great, another complication I hadn't thought about. Do they send separate 1099s for each benefit year?
I think it depends on when the payments were actually made, not which benefit year they came from. But definitely something to pay attention to.

If you need to reach Washington ESD about your claim status, seriously consider that Claimyr service others mentioned. I wasted weeks trying to get through on my own before finally using it. Would have saved me a lot of stress if I'd known about it earlier.
I'm hoping I won't need to contact them but good to know that option exists if my claim gets stuck.
Yeah, it's like insurance - you hope you don't need it but you're glad it's there if you do.
Bottom line: plan for 4 weeks to be safe, hope for 3 weeks, and don't panic if it takes longer. The money will come eventually as long as you keep filing your weekly claims and your claim is legitimate.
