just to add one more thing - when you do file (if you need to), file as soon as possible after losing your job. there's no waiting period to file and you cant get back pay for weeks you didnt file
Still waiting for mine after 12 days. Starting to get worried. Should I call KeyBank or Washington ESD first?
I'd try Washington ESD first since they're the ones who initiate the card being sent. If you can't get through, that Claimyr service might help you reach someone faster.
my sister works part time and got unemployment when her hours got cut way back, so definitely possible for part timers
The eligibility requirements aren't that complicated once you understand them. The hard part is actually getting through the application and approval process without any hiccups. Good luck!
One more thing to keep in mind - if you received unemployment benefits in multiple states, you'll get separate 1099-G forms from each state. Just want to make sure people don't miss any income when filing taxes.

Just wanted to add - keep all your documentation organized from day one. Pay stubs, termination letter, any correspondence with Washington ESD. You might need it later for appeals or if they audit your claim.

•Great advice. I'll start a folder for all the unemployment paperwork.

•Smart move. Digital copies are good too in case you need to upload documents to their system.

Bottom line - at your income level, you'll probably get close to the maximum benefit amount. Just be patient with the process and stay on top of your weekly claims. It's not fun being unemployed, but at least Washington's benefits are decent.

•Yeah, and remember - if you run into any roadblocks with Washington ESD, there are resources like Claimyr to help you get through to them. Don't suffer in silence!
