Just be prepared for the possibility that your partial benefits might be pretty small. When I was working 15 hours a week, my unemployment payment was only like $80 per week after they deducted my part-time earnings.
One last thing - if your employer eventually increases your hours back to normal, make sure you report that change immediately. Don't keep filing for unemployment once you're back to full-time or you could end up with an overpayment issue later.
One last tip - if you do quit and apply for unemployment, don't lie or exaggerate on your application. Washington ESD will investigate and if they find out you weren't truthful, you could be disqualified and have to pay back any benefits you received.
Thanks everyone for all the advice. I think I'm going to focus on documenting the issues with my supervisor while continuing to look for other jobs. If things get worse I'll at least have the evidence I need to make a case for good cause unemployment.
One last thing I'll add - if you run into any issues with Washington ESD not recognizing federal employment or benefit calculations seeming wrong, don't hesitate to appeal. Federal employee claims sometimes get misprocessed initially.
The Claimyr thing is legit by the way. Used it myself when Washington ESD kept hanging up on me. Worth trying if you get stuck - saved me probably 10 hours of calling.
The whole process is intimidating but it's not as bad as it seems once you get started. Just make sure you have all your employment information ready - employer names, addresses, dates of employment, and reason for separation.
One last tip - if you do get approved, make sure you file your weekly claims on time every week. Missing even one week can cause problems with your benefits. Set a reminder on your phone or whatever you need to do to stay on top of it.

One last thing - if your claim gets held up in adjudication, don't panic. Sometimes it's just routine verification and doesn't mean there's a problem. But definitely follow up if it takes more than a few weeks.

•Could be anything - reason for separation from your job, wage discrepancies, even just random quality control reviews. Most get resolved without issues.

•That's another situation where Claimyr really helps - getting through to ask about adjudication status instead of just waiting and wondering.

•Good luck with everything! The unemployment system isn't perfect but the benefits really do help bridge the gap while job hunting.
