If your adjudication is taking forever you might want to contact your state representative's office. Sometimes they can help push things along with Washington ESD when you're not getting anywhere on your own.
Bottom line is Washington ESD is understaffed and overwhelmed. The offices that are open have minimal capacity and the phone system can't handle the volume. It's not personal, the whole system is just broken right now.
Filing weekly claims gets easier with practice. The first few times are confusing but after a month or so you'll zip through it. Just don't get complacent and start rushing through the questions without reading them carefully.
I had an issue where my weekly claim got stuck processing for weeks. Turns out there was a technical glitch with my account. Used Claimyr to get through to someone at Washington ESD who fixed it immediately. Sometimes you just need to talk to an actual person to resolve these system issues.
Good to know there are options when the system doesn't work properly. I'll keep Claimyr in mind if I run into technical problems.
Just want to add that if your benefits do end and you can't file a new claim, make sure you immediately apply for other assistance programs. Don't wait - there can be delays in processing those applications too.
SNAP for food assistance, LIHEAP for utility help, and possibly TANF depending on your situation. Your local DSHS office can help you figure out what you might qualify for.
This whole thread is making me realize I need to get my finances in order before my benefits run out. Time to start budgeting for the possibility of no income for a while.

One last tip - when you do file your weekly claims, be completely honest about your job search activities. It's better to document exactly what you did than to try to fluff it up. Washington ESD audits can be random and you don't want to get caught in inconsistencies.

Just wanted to add - if your payment doesn't come by Friday like mentioned above, don't panic immediately. Sometimes there are small delays even with straightforward claims. But that would be the time to reach out to Washington ESD or use one of those calling services to check what's happening.
