If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

Congrats on getting through it! Your update is really helpful for others who might be nervous about their first RESEA appointment. It sounds like most people have positive experiences when they're prepared and honest about their job search efforts. The fact that your phone notes were accepted is especially good to know since not everyone has access to a printer. Thanks for following up to let everyone know how it went!

Thanks for sharing your positive experience! As someone who just joined this community and might be facing a RESEA appointment soon, it's really reassuring to hear that most people have good experiences when they come prepared. The detail about phone notes being acceptable is particularly helpful since I don't always have easy access to printing either. It sounds like the key is just being honest and organized about your job search activities. Did they give you any specific tips during the meeting that you found especially useful?

As someone new to this community who might be facing a RESEA appointment soon, this whole thread has been incredibly helpful! It's great to see people sharing their actual experiences rather than just speculation. @Yuki Yamamoto your update really puts things in perspective - it sounds like going in prepared and being honest about your job search efforts is the key. The fact that digital records on your phone were accepted is especially good to know since not everyone has easy access to printing. I'm curious though - did your advisor give you any specific tips during the meeting about job searching that you hadn't thought of before? Thanks for taking the time to update everyone on how it went!

Hey @Collins Angel! Just joining this community too and your question about specific tips is spot on. From reading through everyone's experiences, it seems like the RESEA meetings are actually more helpful than scary when you go in prepared. @Yuki Yamamoto - I m'also curious about those industry-specific resources your advisor connected you with! Were they things like specialized job boards or training programs? As someone who might be selected for one of these meetings, it s'really encouraging to see that they re'focused on helping rather than just checking up on you. The consistency in everyone s'positive experiences well, (except for @Andre Lefebvre s situation'is pretty) reassuring.

I've been following this thread closely because I'm in almost the exact same situation! Just got my UC approval with a $142 partial credit and $472 WBR. Reading through everyone's experiences has been incredibly reassuring - I was honestly scared to take any work at all because I didn't want to mess up my claim. But seeing so many people successfully managing part-time work while on UC gives me the confidence to move forward. I love all the practical tips about record-keeping, especially the photo backup system and daily tracking notebook. I'm definitely going to start that routine before I even begin working. One thing that really helped calm my anxiety was realizing that PA actually designed this system to encourage us to work while job searching, not to trap us with confusing rules. Thank you to everyone who shared their real experiences here - this thread should be required reading for anyone starting on PA partial benefits!

Welcome to the community, Emily! Your situation sounds almost identical to mine when I first started navigating PA UC. I was also terrified of making mistakes and accidentally messing up my claim. This thread really has been like a masterclass in how partial benefits actually work in practice. Your point about PA designing the system to encourage work rather than trap us is so important - I think that mindset shift is what finally helped me stop being paralyzed by fear and actually take advantage of the opportunities available. The record-keeping tips everyone shared here are absolutely golden. I started my tracking system last week and it's already become second nature. You're going to do great with this - just take it one week at a time and remember that being honest and detailed with your reporting is really all it takes. This community is here if you have any questions along the way!

I'm also dealing with PA UC for the first time and this entire thread has been a lifesaver! I was completely overwhelmed by the partial benefits system and kept putting off taking any work because I was so scared of messing something up. My partial credit is $156 and WBR is $520, and I've been offered some shifts at a local coffee shop that would keep me well under that threshold. Reading everyone's experiences here has given me the confidence to say yes to that opportunity. The detailed advice about record-keeping is exactly what I needed - I'm going to start with the notebook + photo system that so many people recommended. It's incredible how this community has turned something that felt impossibly complicated into something manageable. Thank you all for sharing your real-world experiences so openly - you're helping people like me who just want to do everything correctly while trying to make ends meet during job searching!

Chloe, you're making the right choice taking that coffee shop opportunity! I was in the exact same position a few months ago - completely paralyzed by fear of making mistakes and missing out on income I really needed. That $156 partial credit gives you a nice buffer to work several shifts a week while keeping your full benefits. The coffee shop environment is actually perfect for this because you'll have consistent scheduling and clear timesheet records. I'd definitely recommend starting that tracking system right away - even before your first shift - so you're already in the habit. One small tip I learned: if you get tips, make sure to include those in your earnings reporting too. But honestly, once you do this for a week or two, it becomes completely routine. This community really is amazing for practical advice - I wish I had found it sooner! You've got this!

Just wanted to add my experience for anyone else who might be searching for this info later! I went through this exact same timeline about a month ago. Transaction numbers appeared on a Tuesday, and the money hit my account Thursday morning - so exactly 2 business days like most people here experienced. I'm with a smaller local bank and was worried they might be slower, but it worked out fine. One thing that really helped my anxiety was remembering that the transaction numbers appearing means the state has already processed and approved your payment - at that point it's just the normal banking system doing its thing. The hardest part is definitely those first few times when you don't know what to expect. Now I know the routine and it's much less stressful! Pedro, so glad you got your money and shared your story - posts like this are invaluable for people going through this process for the first time.

This is exactly the kind of reassurance I needed to read! I'm going through my first UC payment cycle right now and the waiting period has been so nerve-wracking. Your point about the transaction numbers meaning the state has already approved the payment is really helpful - I hadn't thought about it that way before. It's good to know that even smaller local banks stick to that 2 business day timeline. Thanks for taking the time to share your experience Andre! This whole thread has become like a masterclass in PA UC payment expectations. Really appreciate everyone being so open about their timelines and tips.

This thread has been incredibly helpful! I'm currently on week 3 of waiting for my initial claim decision, so reading Pedro's success story gives me so much hope. It's really reassuring to see that once you get past the approval hurdle, the payment timeline is pretty predictable at 2-3 business days after those transaction numbers show up. I'm definitely bookmarking this for when (fingers crossed) I get approved. The mobile banking alerts tip is genius - I'm setting that up now so I'll be prepared. Thanks to everyone for sharing their experiences and creating such a supportive environment here. When you're dealing with financial stress and navigating this confusing system, having a community like this makes all the difference!

Week 3 of waiting for initial approval is rough, but don't lose hope! I remember that waiting period feeling endless. Once you do get approved though, this thread will be your best friend for understanding the payment timeline. The fact that everyone here consistently reports 2-3 business days after transaction numbers appear is so reassuring compared to all the horror stories you hear about UC delays. Setting up those banking alerts ahead of time is such smart planning! Wishing you the best of luck with your claim - hopefully you'll be back here soon sharing your own success story like Pedro did!

I went through this exact same situation about 3 weeks ago and it was absolutely terrifying! Got the exhaustion email at week 24 and immediately thought I was losing my benefits early. The lockout happened because I panicked and kept trying to reset my PIN over and over. What everyone here is saying is 100% correct - that exhaustion email is just their poorly worded automated warning that you're approaching your 26-week limit, NOT that your benefits are actually cut off. I still got my full remaining weeks once I got back in. The 7:58am calling strategy with 1-3-1 is legit - that's exactly how I got through after 4 days of failed attempts. Make sure you call from the phone number on your UC account and have your SSN ready. The agent unlocked my account in literally 2 minutes once I got through. Also definitely keep filing by phone at 888-255-4728 while you're locked out so you don't miss any weeks! Hang in there, this will get resolved and your benefits are still there waiting for you! 💪

This thread has been such a lifesaver! I'm dealing with the exact same issue right now - got the scary exhaustion email yesterday and have been locked out since trying to reset my PIN too many times. It's so reassuring to hear from everyone who went through this and came out fine. I had no idea about filing by phone while locked out, that's incredibly helpful since I was worried about missing weeks. Definitely going to try the 7:58am strategy tomorrow with those button presses. Thank you for sharing your experience and confirming that the benefits are still there - that's what I needed to hear! 🙏

I'm dealing with this exact same situation right now! Got the exhaustion email yesterday at week 23 and have been completely panicked thinking my benefits were cut off early. Then I made it worse by trying to reset my PIN multiple times and now I'm locked out too. 😭 This thread is seriously saving my sanity right now - I had no idea this was such a common issue with PA UC's terrible system! The fact that so many people have confirmed the exhaustion email is just an automated warning and not an actual cutoff is such a huge relief. I was convinced I'd somehow lost my remaining 3 weeks. Definitely going to try the 7:58am calling strategy with the 1-3-1 button sequence tomorrow morning. I've been calling in the middle of the day and getting absolutely nowhere. Also had no clue about being able to file by phone while locked out - that's a game changer since I was stressing about missing this week's certification. Thanks to everyone who shared their experiences and tips. It's honestly ridiculous that we have to become detective experts just to navigate their broken system, but at least we're helping each other out! 💪

Hey Cameron! I totally understand that panic - I went through the exact same thing a few months ago and thought my world was ending when I got that exhaustion email at week 23. The wording is SO misleading! 😅 But everyone here is absolutely right - you still have your full 26 weeks, the system just sends that scary email way too early. The lockout is frustrating but totally fixable. That 7:58am calling trick with 1-3-1 really does work - I got through in about 12 minutes after days of failed attempts. And definitely file by phone this week so you don't miss your certification! You got this, the benefits are still there waiting for you once you get back in! 🙌

UPDATE: My payment finally posted this morning (Thursday) at 5:43am. So it took 4 business days instead of the usual 2-3. Must have been because I reported those temp hours like someone mentioned. Thanks everyone for the help!

Axel Far

Glad to hear it came through! And yes, any time you report earnings, it typically adds an extra day for processing. Keep that in mind for future weeks if you're picking up more temp work.

0 coins

nice! at least now u know for next time. those extra hours probably triggered a manual review

0 coins

So glad your payment came through! For future reference, I've found it helpful to keep a little buffer in my budget for weeks when I report earnings since those extra processing days are pretty consistent. Also, if you're doing regular temp work, you might want to consider setting up a small emergency fund from your UC payments when possible - even $20-30 set aside can help bridge those longer processing times. The uncertainty is definitely stressful when bills are due!

0 coins

That's really smart advice about building a buffer! I'm just starting out with UC and still figuring out how to budget with the unpredictable timing. $20-30 per payment might not sound like much but it could definitely save a lot of stress. Do you have any tips on how to track when payments come in versus when you filed? I'm thinking of keeping a little log to see if I can spot any patterns.

0 coins

@Zainab Yusuf Great idea about keeping a log! I actually started doing something similar after my first few delayed payments. I use a simple spreadsheet with columns for: filing date, filing time, any earnings reported Y/N (,)payment posted date, and payment posted time. After about 6-8 weeks you start to see patterns. For me, I noticed that when I file Sunday before 6pm with no earnings, payment usually hits Tuesday night/Wednesday early morning. But if I report ANY earnings or file late Sunday, it s'almost always Thursday. The log really helped me plan better and reduced my anxiety about when money would show up!
