If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

Congrats on winning your appeal! "Reversed" definitely means you won - I went through this exact same thing about 4 months ago when my employer tried to claim I voluntarily quit after they restructured my department and offered me a completely different role with way less pay. It's such a relief when you finally get that decision letter! Since your account is already showing "Payable" status, you should see the money hit your card within 2-4 business days. Mine took exactly 3 business days after the status changed. One thing that helped me was setting up account alerts so I'd get notified immediately when deposits hit instead of constantly checking. After 3 months of waiting and stressing about bills, you're literally at the finish line now. That back pay is going to feel amazing when it finally comes through!

Thank you so much! It's incredible how many people have gone through almost identical situations with employers falsely claiming we quit. Setting up account alerts is such a smart idea - I've been driving myself crazy refreshing the page every few hours! I'm definitely going to do that right now. After all this stress and uncertainty, it's hard to believe I'm actually this close to getting paid. This whole experience has been such a learning curve about how the UC system works (and sometimes doesn't work). Really appreciate you taking the time to share your timeline - knowing it was exactly 3 days for you gives me something concrete to expect!

That's fantastic news about your account updating to "Payable" status! I went through this same situation about 5 months ago when my employer falsely claimed I quit after they eliminated my position. Once my status changed to "Payable," it took exactly 4 business days for the money to hit my ReliaCard. Since you've been filing weekly claims throughout the entire 3-month process, that back pay is going to be substantial - and well-deserved after all the stress you've been through! One thing I learned is to check your account early in the morning (like 6-7am) because UC payments often process overnight. You're literally days away from getting that relief. Congratulations on persevering through such a difficult process!

Thank you for sharing your experience and timeline! It's so helpful to hear from someone who went through the exact same thing. I never thought to check early in the morning - that's a great tip about payments processing overnight! After 3 months of this nightmare, I'm honestly still in disbelief that I'm finally this close to getting paid. The stress of having bills pile up while waiting for the appeal was just incredible. Knowing it took exactly 4 days for you gives me a concrete timeline to expect. I'm definitely going to start checking at 6am instead of obsessively refreshing throughout the day!

Great job resolving this! And congratulations again on the new position. Remember to keep track of your hours carefully these first few weeks. When you receive your first paycheck, take a moment to verify everything matches up with what you reported to UC. Best of luck with the new job!

Congrats on getting the job and getting your pay rate sorted out! Just wanted to add - since you mentioned potential commission, make sure to report any commission earnings in the week you actually receive them (not when you "earn" them through sales). Commission reporting can be tricky because it's often paid in a different pay period than when the sales were made. Also, $18.50/hr is pretty decent for retail management! Hope the new position works out well for you.

That's a really important point about commission timing! I hadn't even thought about that yet since I don't know if I'll be in a commission-eligible department right away. Good to know I should report it when I receive it rather than when I make the sales. And thank you - I'm pretty happy with the $18.50 rate, especially after being unemployed for so long. Fingers crossed everything goes smoothly with both the job and the UC reporting!

After using Claimyr to reach a UC representative yesterday, I found out what happened. They had sent a hearing notice scheduling a phone hearing, but it was sent to my old address despite my updated contact information being in the system. The representative helped me file for a new hearing based on lack of proper notification. The decision status has been reset to 'pending' now, and I should receive proper notification for the rescheduled hearing within 2 weeks. Thank you everyone for your help and suggestions!

So glad you got it sorted out!! Make sure you watch your mail SUPER carefully this time and maybe even call to confirm they have your right address!! The whole system is such a mess!

Wait, I'm confused - I think there might be some mixed up information here. The update about using Claimyr and getting the hearing rescheduled was posted by Hiroshi Nakamura, but the original post asking for help was from GamerGirl99. Did GamerGirl99 get her issue resolved too, or is this someone else's experience? Just want to make sure we're tracking the right person's situation since this is such an important issue!

Good catch! I noticed that mix-up too. It looks like Hiroshi was sharing his own similar experience to help GamerGirl99, but it's confusing because he posted it as if it was an update to her situation. @GamerGirl99 - are you still waiting to call about your case, or did you also get through and get it resolved? Would be helpful to know if you're still needing to make that call or if you've had any updates on your end!

Omg that's terrifying! I just took screenshots of everything in my portal. I also recorded the date and time of my call with the rep and her name. The whole system feels designed to make people give up. I'm not going to let them get away with

I went through something similar last year and want to share a few additional tips that helped me. First, when you call Treasury at that number mentioned above (800-304-3107), ask them to put a note on your file about the pending offset removal - this can help if there's any confusion when your next refund comes in. Second, I'd recommend setting up email alerts through your bank if you're expecting direct deposit refunds, so you know immediately if anything gets intercepted. Finally, if you have any other federal payments coming (like stimulus payments, child tax credits, etc.), those could potentially be affected too until the offset is fully removed. The good news is that once Treasury processes the removal, it should protect all future federal payments, not just tax refunds. Stay persistent - you've already done the hard part by winning at the referee level!

This is y i always transfer my UC money to my regular bank account as soon as it hits the card. dont trust these government cards AT ALL

0 coins

This is actually good advice. You can set up automatic transfers from Money Network to your personal bank account. Takes 1-2 business days but eliminates a lot of these card headaches.

0 coins

Definitely going to set this up today! Had no idea this was an option. Thanks!

Glad you got it sorted out! For future reference, PA UC also has a text alert system you can sign up for that will notify you about system outages and maintenance. You can enable it in your UC dashboard under notification preferences. Would have saved you (and all of us) a lot of stress! Also seconding the automatic transfer suggestion - I've been doing that for months and it's been a lifesaver.

This is super helpful - I had no idea about the text alert system! Just signed up for it. Definitely would have prevented the panic yesterday. And yes, setting up the automatic transfer is next on my list. Thanks for all the tips everyone, this community is amazing for sharing these kinds of solutions!
