If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

That's such a relief to hear you got approved and received all your backpay! I'm in a similar situation - my benefit year ended in February and I just submitted my reopening application last week. Reading about your 6-week wait is making me nervous, but it's encouraging to know that it worked out in the end. Quick question - when you say you uploaded your last paystub, was that from the landscaping job or did you need to provide paystubs from the entire 7 months you worked there? I'm wondering how much documentation I should prepare just in case they ask for more info. Also, did your new weekly benefit amount get calculated automatically once approved, or did you have to do anything else to get that $386 figure? Thanks for sharing your experience!

I only uploaded my very last paystub from the landscaping job - they didn't ask for all 7 months worth, just the most recent one to verify my employment ended. The system already had access to my wage records through their database, so they could see all my earnings automatically. The $386 weekly benefit was calculated automatically once they approved my claim! It showed up right in my account dashboard along with the approval notification. You don't need to do anything extra - PA's system runs the calculations based on your reported wages in their system. Hope your application goes through faster than mine did!

Wow, 6 weeks is really long but I'm so glad you finally got approved! I'm actually dreading having to go through this process myself - my benefit year ends next month and I've only been at my new job for about 5 months. Reading everyone's experiences here is super helpful though. One thing I'm confused about - do you have to wait until your benefit year actually expires to reopen, or can you file early? I keep seeing conflicting info online about the timing. Also, did you have any issues with the job search requirements while you were waiting for approval? I'm worried about keeping up with all that while also dealing with the stress of waiting to hear back. Thanks for sharing your story - it gives me hope that even if it takes forever, it can still work out in the end!

Congratulations on finally getting through and getting your appeal approved! This is such a relief to read. Your story is going to help so many other people who are stuck in the same situation. It's crazy that there was a "system issue" preventing your approved appeal from being processed - makes you wonder how many other people are dealing with the same thing without knowing it. Definitely going to save that direct appeals number (717-787-5122) for future reference. Thanks for coming back to update us!

So happy to hear this worked out for you! As someone new to navigating the PA UC system, this whole thread has been incredibly helpful. The fact that your appeal was approved weeks ago but stuck due to a "system issue" is both relieving and terrifying - how many others are in the same boat? Really appreciate everyone sharing their experiences and tips here. Definitely bookmarking that direct appeals number and the state rep advice for future reference. Stories like this give me hope that persistence pays off!

Welcome to the community! This thread is such a perfect example of why this forum is so valuable - seeing Haley's journey from panic to resolution gives me hope for my own situation. I'm currently dealing with a similar appeals delay (4 weeks post-hearing) and was starting to lose faith in the process. The direct appeals number (717-787-5122) and state rep contact advice are game-changers - I had no idea these options existed. It's also eye-opening (and frankly disturbing) how many approved cases are apparently sitting in "system issue" limbo without people knowing. Thank you everyone for sharing your experiences and creating such a supportive space for navigating this frustrating system!

This thread has been incredibly helpful! I'm dealing with a similar payment delay issue - been waiting 6 weeks for back benefits after they approved my claim. The main UC number is completely useless, just like everyone else has experienced. I'm definitely going to try the Money Network number (877-704-8144) first thing Monday morning based on your success story. It's amazing that there are different numbers for different types of issues and they don't publicize this anywhere obvious. For anyone else reading this, I also wanted to add that I found out you can check the status of your state representative online at legis.state.pa.us - just enter your address and it shows you who represents your district. Some of them have UC liaison staff specifically for unemployment issues, which I didn't know until I started digging around their websites. The fact that we all have to become experts in navigating this broken system just to get our own money is absolutely ridiculous, but at least we can help each other out. Thanks for sharing what worked!

This is such a valuable resource! I just joined this community after struggling with my own UC payment issues for the past month. Reading through everyone's experiences and solutions has been a huge help. I had no idea there were different numbers for different types of problems - the Money Network number for payment issues is exactly what I need to try. I also appreciate the tip about checking legis.state.pa.us to find your state representative. I've been putting off contacting them because I wasn't sure who mine was or if they could actually help with UC issues. It's frustrating that we have to jump through so many hoops, but knowing there are people here who have successfully navigated this mess gives me hope. Thanks everyone for sharing your knowledge and experiences!

Just wanted to add another tip that worked for me when I was dealing with a similar payment delay issue last year. If you have access to email, try reaching out directly to your local CareerLink office via their contact form on the PA CareerLink website. Many people don't realize that CareerLink offices often have UC staff who work there part-time or can at least escalate your case internally. When I did this, I got a response within 48 hours from a UC representative who was able to look into my case and identify the issue (turned out to be a similar system flag like yours). They couldn't fix it directly, but they were able to put in a priority request that got my case reviewed much faster than the normal queue. The key is to be very specific in your email - include your SSN, claim number, the exact dates of the issue, and reference any determination letters you received. Also mention how long you've been trying to reach someone by phone. They seem to prioritize cases where people have made multiple unsuccessful contact attempts. It's worth trying alongside the Money Network number approach since different methods work for different people depending on the specific type of issue they're dealing with.

This is such great advice about contacting CareerLink directly! I never thought about emailing them instead of just calling. Do you happen to remember roughly how long it took between when they put in the priority request and when your payment issue was actually resolved? I'm trying to get a sense of realistic timelines since my rent situation is getting pretty urgent. Also, did you email a specific CareerLink location or is there a general statewide contact form? Thanks for adding this option to the list!

So glad you got it resolved!! That's awesome news. I've been dealing with PA UC issues for months and this thread is honestly the most helpful info I've seen anywhere. Definitely saving this for future reference. The Giant Eagle tip is gold - never would have thought to try there. Hope your boyfriend can get direct deposit set up for future payments so you don't have to go through this stress again!

This whole thread has been incredibly helpful! As someone new to dealing with PA unemployment, I had no idea about things like the SSN endorsement requirement or the 180-day expiration. It's frustrating that the system is so confusing and the UC office is so hard to reach, but at least we have communities like this to help each other out. Definitely going to bookmark this for future reference too. Thanks to everyone who shared their experiences and solutions!

This is such a great success story and really shows how helpful this community can be! I'm dealing with my first UC claim right now and honestly had no idea about most of these requirements - the SSN endorsement thing especially seems like something they should tell you upfront. It's crazy that we have to figure this stuff out through trial and error and community help. Really appreciate everyone sharing their knowledge here. Going to make sure I have all this info ready if I ever need to cash a paper check. The Giant Eagle solution is brilliant - who knew grocery stores were better at handling government checks than actual banks sometimes!

Totally agree! I'm also new to this whole UC process and honestly had no clue about any of these requirements either. It's wild that you have to endorse with your SSN - that seems like pretty crucial info that should be included with the check or at least mentioned somewhere obvious. Really grateful for communities like this where people actually help each other navigate these confusing systems. The fact that grocery stores ended up being the solution is just perfect - sometimes the most unexpected places work better than the "official" channels. Definitely saving all these tips for future reference!

If you're concerned about the timeline, you can also check your PA UC dashboard for any updates. Sometimes they'll post messages about the review status there before you receive anything by mail. Regarding potential future reviews - they typically don't repeat this process unless there's a significant change in your reporting pattern or you have a new employer. The system is designed to verify once, then trust the established pattern unless something changes.

i check my dashboard like 10 times a day when waiting for payments lol

I'm going through this exact same situation right now! Just started a part-time job at a retail store and after 3 weeks of partial payments, I got the review form last week. It's so stressful not knowing when the money will come through, especially when you're already struggling financially. Thanks everyone for sharing your experiences - it's reassuring to know this is normal and not something I did wrong. Keeping my fingers crossed it resolves in the 2-3 week timeframe most of you mentioned!
