If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

UPDATE: I finally got through to PA UC this morning after trying that Claimyr service someone mentioned above. It actually worked! The rep told me my employer DID respond last week but there's another issue with my claim about my base year earnings that's holding things up. They're sending me a letter about it. At least now I know what's happening instead of being completely in the dark. Thanks everyone for your help!

Glad you got some answers! Base year issues usually mean they need to verify your wages from the quarters they're using to calculate your benefit amount. Make sure you have your pay stubs ready if they request them. Hope it gets resolved quickly for you!

That's such a relief that you finally got through and found out what was actually going on! The uncertainty is honestly the worst part of this whole process. Good luck with the base year earnings issue - hopefully that gets sorted out quickly once you provide whatever documentation they need.

So glad you finally got some clarity on your situation! The waiting game with PA UC is absolutely brutal, especially when you're stressed about finances. I went through something similar last year and the not knowing was honestly worse than the actual delay. At least now you can focus on getting the base year earnings issue resolved instead of wondering if your employer even bothered to respond. Keep us posted on how it goes - your experience might help someone else in the same boat!

Absolutely agree that the uncertainty is the worst part! I'm dealing with a similar situation right now - been waiting 2.5 weeks with the same "pending employer information" status. Your update gives me hope that there might actually be progress happening behind the scenes even when the dashboard doesn't show it. Did the Claimyr service cost much? I'm getting desperate enough to try anything at this point.

This thread is super helpful! I'm also new to PA UC and got my Money Network card last week but haven't had any payments yet. Reading through everyone's experiences really helps set expectations. One question - do you all get email notifications when UC processes a payment, or do you just have to keep checking the portal? I've been obsessively refreshing my claim status hoping to see some movement on my back weeks. The waiting is honestly the worst part of this whole process!

Hey Giovanni! Welcome to the PA UC journey - I know it's stressful but you're not alone. From my experience, you'll get email notifications when they process payments, but honestly the timing can be inconsistent. Sometimes I get the email right away, other times it takes a day or two after I see the status change in the portal. I'd recommend checking both your email AND the UC portal regularly. Also, once you do get that first payment processed, it usually means they're working through your backlog systematically. The waiting really is the hardest part, but hang in there!

Just wanted to chime in as someone who's been on PA UC for about 8 months now - the Money Network card timing becomes pretty predictable once you get used to it. For regular weekly benefits, I usually certify on Sunday and see the funds hit my card by Wednesday morning. But for back pay like what you experienced, it's almost always that Friday-to-Monday timeline everyone mentioned. One thing that really helped me was setting up the Money Network mobile app notifications AND linking my regular bank account for transfers. Even though the transfer takes 2-3 business days, at least you can get the money off that card and into your real account without fees. The card itself is fine for emergencies but I prefer having my UC money in my regular checking account for bill pay and everything else. Hope your situation stays stable going forward - the stress of waiting for overdue payments is brutal when you're already dealing with unemployment!

Thanks for sharing your experience Elin! This is exactly the kind of info I needed to hear. I'm still pretty new to all this and wasn't sure if the timing would get more predictable once I'm past the initial backlog phase. It's reassuring to know that regular weekly payments follow a more consistent schedule. I definitely want to set up that bank transfer feature - dealing with the Money Network card for everything seems like a hassle. Did you have any issues when you first linked your bank account, or was it pretty straightforward? I'm always worried about potential delays or complications when setting up new financial connections, especially with government systems.

Isaac, congratulations on winning your appeal! That's such a huge weight off your shoulders after 3 months of fighting. Your 11-day timeline gives me hope - I'm currently day 8 after my own favorable appeal decision for a similar misconduct vs layoff situation. Reading through all these responses has been incredibly helpful. The advice about checking the Money Network card separately from bank accounts, setting up text alerts, and documenting everything really stands out. I had no idea about the potential for fraud alerts on large deposits either - definitely calling my bank tomorrow! One thing I'm curious about - did you get any kind of confirmation or tracking number when your first batch processed, or did the money just show up? I'm obsessively checking both my bank account and the UC portal multiple times a day but haven't seen anything yet. Thanks for taking the time to update everyone with your timeline. Posts like this are a lifeline for those of us still waiting and stressing about rent/bills. Really hope your second batch comes through quickly!

Hey NeonNova! Day 8 sounds promising based on everyone's experiences here - you're definitely in the window where things could start happening any day now. From what I've gathered reading through all these responses, most people don't get any advance confirmation or tracking numbers - the money just appears in their account/card. That's probably why everyone suggests checking multiple times a day (even though it drives you crazy!). The obsessive checking is totally normal - I think we all go through that when we're waiting for money we desperately need. Isaac's 11-day timeline and the average of 12.6 days that Tami shared really seem to be the sweet spot, so hopefully you'll see movement soon. Keep us posted on when yours comes through - these real timelines help everyone manage their expectations and stress levels!

Isaac, this is such amazing news! Congratulations on both winning your appeal and getting that first batch of payments. Your timeline is incredibly helpful - 11 business days seems to be right in that sweet spot that others have mentioned. I'm actually going through a similar situation right now (day 6 after my favorable decision) and this thread has been a goldmine of practical advice. The tip about setting up Money Network text alerts and checking the portal at 6am are things I never would have thought of on my own. It's so frustrating that employers try to claim misconduct when they're really just doing layoffs to avoid paying into the UC system. But it's encouraging to see that the referees do side with workers when we have our documentation together. Quick question - when your first batch came through, did it show up on your Money Network card or direct deposit? I'm trying to figure out where to focus my obsessive checking! Thanks for taking the time to update everyone. These real experiences make such a difference when you're in the middle of this stressful process. Fingers crossed your remaining payments come through in the next few days!

Yes! I finally got it resolved. The browser trick didn't work for me, so I used that Claimyr service someone mentioned to get through to an agent. Got connected in about 30 minutes, and the UC rep fixed it right away. She said it's a known system issue they're still working on. My claim is reopened now and I was able to file for my missed weeks too.

I'm dealing with this exact same issue right now! Been stuck in that work history loop for 4 days and it's driving me crazy. The system just won't save anything I enter. I saw you mentioned Claimyr - is that a legitimate service? I'm hesitant to use third-party services for unemployment stuff but I'm getting desperate. Also wondering if anyone knows roughly how much they charge? At this point I'd rather pay something than waste more days trying to get through on my own.

I can understand your frustration! I used Claimyr when I was stuck in the same loop and it was legitimate - they basically just keep calling the UC line until they get through, then connect you to an agent. I think it cost me around $20 but honestly it was worth it after wasting so much time trying myself. Just make sure you're ready to talk to the UC rep immediately when they connect you since you're paying for that connection time. The whole call took maybe 10 minutes once I got through and the agent fixed the work history issue right away.

UPDATE: I wanted to let everyone know what worked! I used Claimyr yesterday morning and got through to someone at UC in about 30 minutes. The agent was actually really helpful once I explained about the job interview. She put notes on my account and forwarded it to an examiner for priority review. Just got the notification this morning that my claim was approved! The relief is incredible. Now I can go to my interview Monday with the proper documentation. THANK YOU all for the help and suggestions!
