Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. Has anyone tried using the IRS2Go app? I heard it can sometimes give you updates on your refund status.

Totally agree. In some countries, the government just sends you a bill or a refund automatically. Why can't we have that?
Quick question - did you already file your taxes with the old bank info, or have you not filed yet? If you haven't filed, you can just put the correct info on your return and avoid this whole headache.
Unfortunately, I already filed with the old info. Didn't even think about it at the time š¤¦āāļø

I found a method to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/bDXD2SD0gGk
