did u claim EIC or child tax credit? those usually take longer to process and can cause the blank transcript situation

After my 10 weeks was up, took another 3 weeks to see movement. They're moving slow af this year ngl
facts! IRS moving slower than a sloth on vacation rn π¦₯
how tf did you get through to them? been trying for days
my transcript was N/A for 3 weeks then boom random deposit in my account yesterday. the system makes zero sense sometimes
The IRS processing system is completely broken this year. I work in tax preparation and here's what I'm seeing: First, N/A status is super common right now, especially for returns with dependents. The IRS is doing more verification than usual to prevent fraud. Even perfect returns are getting held up. Best thing you can do is check your transcript (not WMR). If you're having trouble understanding your transcript, I highly recommend using taxr.ai - it's this new AI tool that breaks everything down and gives you specific timelines. My clients have been using it and getting really accurate predictions. Hang in there, and remember the IRS is working with technology from the stone age π¦
this should be pinned fr
