If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

Check your mail carefully! Sometimes they send letters requesting more info but the WMR/transcript won't show it. Had this happen to me and almost missed it bc it looked like junk mail ngl

The IRS systems are completely broken rn. Their collections department operates independently from returns processing. You gotta be proactive - call them, get TAS involved, whatever it takes to protect yourself while they sort out their mess.

When Will My $8,660 EIC Refund Process? PATH Act Delay? HOH with 3 Exemptions, $18,495 AGI, Filed Feb 17 with 04-15-2025 Credit Dates

Just checked my transcripts and I'm showing a refund amount of -$8,660.00 (account balance). My transcript clearly shows at the top "ANY MINUS SIGN SHOWN BELOW SIGNIFIES A CREDIT AMOUNT" and lists my ACCOUNT BALANCE as -$8,660.00. I have ACCRUED INTEREST: $0.00 AS OF: Feb. 17, 2025 and ACCRUED PENALTY: $0.00 AS OF: Feb. 17, 2025. My ACCOUNT BALANCE PLUS ACCRUALS (this is not a payoff amount) is shown as -$8,660.00. I filed Head of Household with 3 exemptions (which is clearly indicated in the INFORMATION FROM THE RETURN OR AS ADJUSTED section where it lists EXEMPTIONS: 03 and FILING STATUS: Head of Household). My AGI was $18,495.00 with $0.00 taxable income (confirmed in transcript showing ADJUSTED GROSS INCOME: $18,495.00 and TAXABLE INCOME: $0.00). The transcript also shows TAX PER RETURN: $0.00, SE TAXABLE INCOME TAXPAYER: $0.00, SE TAXABLE INCOME SPOUSE: $0.00, and TOTAL SELF EMPLOYMENT TAX: $0.00. I'm claiming EIC and looks like I have code 768 for Earned Income Credit (-$6,900) and code 766 for another credit (-$1,700) both dated 04-15-2025. My return was processed on Feb. 17, 2025 with a tax return filed code 150. The transcript shows RETURN DUE DATE OR RETURN RECEIVED DATE (WHICHEVER IS LATER) as Apr. 15, 20 and PROCESSING DATE as Feb. 17, 20. Under the TRANSACTIONS section, I see: CODE 150 - Tax return filed - CYCLE 20250505 - DATE 02-17-2025 76211-417-65653-5 CODE 766 - Credit to your account - DATE 04-15-2025 - AMOUNT -$1,700 CODE 768 - Earned income credit - DATE 04-15-2025 - AMOUNT -$6,900 I'm wondering if I'm stuck on PATH act? Anyone know how to tell from these transcript codes if I'm on PATH? Getting anxious waiting for my refund of $8,660.00. Do the 04-15-2025 dates for both the credit codes (766 and 768) mean I'm subject to PATH and won't get my refund until mid-February at the earliest?

Tax Preparer Advises Amended Return After 4-Month IRS Delay - Mentions "Taking Sauce Off" But Return Not Rejected

I've been waiting since February for my refund and I'm in a really confusing situation with my tax person. They just messaged me saying I need to file an amended return. This morning, I got a text from them that reads: "You can speak to your clients & decide what y'all wanna do. You can either amend the files & take the sauce off or keep waiting. Either way it's gone be a delay. We had over 5 files this week pay out from February, so it's difficult to say which files to redo & which ones to sit on. But you can make that call & if so just submit back in for review after you make the changes. Amended files to less than 5 minutes to do." I texted back asking "So was it rejected? Where I have to go back and file it" They responded: "Not rejected. Go to H&R Block and ask them to do an amended return. The irs will reject your return if you file with me." Later they messaged: "I just got an update from one of our advisors. I would advise you to do an amended return. You can wait if you choose but nothing sounds guaranteed anymore." I'm really confused by all this. My tax person said amended files take "less than 5 minutes to do" but they're being kind of vague about whether I absolutely need to do this. They keep telling me to go to H&R Block, but then also say my return hasn't technically been rejected yet. I previously faxed some information to them (I think to the IRS?) - I texted "Not sure. I faxed the info them" at some point in our conversation. I'm also totally confused about what this "sauce" thing is they keep mentioning or why it needs to be removed. It seems like they've had over 5 clients from February finally get their refunds this week, so there's some movement happening, but now they're telling me "nothing sounds guaranteed anymore." Should I just keep waiting it out or actually do the amendment? And why do I need to go to H&R Block specifically? Really confused about what to do here.

A word of advice - document EVERYTHING. Save these texts, get everything in writing if you decide to amend. CYA always!!!

Faxed Amended Return from July 20th Missing from IRS System After 16 Weeks - Still "Unavailable" on Where's My Amended Return Tool

Filed my amended return and faxed it to the IRS on July 20th. My 16 weeks is coming up on Nov 8th but still no changes showing on my transcript. The old amounts are still there and nothing has updated. I've been checking "Where's My Amended Return" on the official IRS website but all I keep getting is the exact message that says "Your amended return information is currently unavailable in this application. It takes up to 3 weeks for an amended return to show on your account. You can generally expect your amended return to be processed within 16 weeks from the date we receive it. Check the date you filed your amended return and try again later." Even though the IRS specifically states on their page that it takes up to 3 weeks for an amended return to show on your account and you can generally expect your amended return to be processed within 16 weeks from the date they receive it, I'm still seeing nothing when I check. I've checked the date I filed repeatedly and tried again later like their message suggests, but still nothing. The old amounts are still there and nothing has updated. I'm on the IRS.gov official website, looking at the "Where's My Amended Return" tool. There's even an "Exit" button and "EspaΓ±ol" option at the top of the page. It has the official IRS logo and everything, with "IRS Privacy Policy" and "Accessibility" links at the bottom. I'm accessing this through my phone (shows 5G connection at the top of my screen). Getting really frustrated with this wait, especially since I'm approaching that 16-week mark they specifically mention in their own tool. Has anyone else had this issue where the IRS website keeps saying "Your amended return information is currently unavailable in this application" well after the 3-week mark when it should be showing up in their system?
